I was going to give up on the clock item when I finally found the gold.. Another option is to kill a bunch of zombie pigmen in the nether to get the gold nugget drops to complete the clock.

I was at the bottom mining along the right side (when looking to the other end from the end you spawn at). Can't remember how far along I was but I think it was at least 1/2 way. He had said it was visible from the outside so I was busy mining all the edges.

Done!! Very fun map to play. I "think" I got all the spawners but I lost track at the beginning. Other than that, all tasks completed. Getting that damn chicken spawner working was a real pain, especially when a creeper blew up a good part of my grass path to it. Got a few suggestions.
- Sheep: Doesn't seem like much use for it given all the string I collected from those damn cave spiders. Especially since there's no task like building a bed. You could add another one and then maybe have a couple additional tasks like making shears, making a bed and outfitting your house with paintings. I added those tasks for myself.
- Gold: That was a pain. I think it would lead people to just not bothering or getting out early on to hunt it down from the outside. You could add a lot more of it and then make a task that they have to complete a full set of gold armour and enchant it. Or,
- Nether: There's no use for it. This could really be expanded on by putting together your own map for it that included a small nether fortress (not really required though). Have some nether wart they have to hunt down and a couple blaze spawners. If you removed gold from the ant farm, then people would have to kill zombie pigmen to get gold nuggets in order to complete the clock. You could also add a chest with some melon seeds in it. Then they have to find that, make a melon farm, make a brewing stand and brew up a health potion. All those things require that they have to actually do a bunch of things in the nether. Also, that their house has to be primarily lit up with glowstone which is a task I set for myself.
There was one strange thing I noticed. Could have to do with the farm being built out of bedrock or maybe because it's so narrow although I don't know... I rarely saw mobs in the farm. I thought it was strange but given I'm fanatical about lighting things up I figured it was just due to that. However, I made my way out of the farm and down to the table to have a look around... Seeing all those tiny mobs over the side was damn cool... I wasn't ready to get to the bed and needed more materials so went back in and there were now a bunch of mobs around. Very strange and not sure why that would be the case. Even running around inside the farm there didn't seem to be many mobs outside compared to when I had made my way out there.
Anyway, Great map and I enjoyed playing it.. Thumbs up!
After finding the gold I completed all the challenges except the ones requiring chickens because the chicken spawner wasn't in the giant red mushroom! Either that's not the right place or it was glitched somehow. Either way, loved the map.

What version were you playing? In 2.4.1 it's probably where he said, assuming you found ALL those locations.. In 2.4 it's somewhere else which is what I was playing.

I played 2.4.1 and there's only 1 place with a red mushroom.

Sorry to be quoting the whole thing
I thoroughly enjoyed the map as well, but tempus64 raises a good point, whats the point in going to the nether, I'm pretty sure that you can make the nether how ever you want, as nether portals always spawn at 0,0 or 8,8 on the map, no matter where you make them in the normal world. A nether fortress would be pretty sick, perhaps a ANT FARM NETHER FORTRESS :D? or am i going to far P:

Where is the gold?

High or low?
EDIT: Nevermind found it.
Yeah.. I thought I was right at the bottom but was just playing it and realized I was maybe 4-5 up... Glad you found it.
Looks amazing I will try it out

hmmmm... There was 2 in mine.. Maybe he removed one.
I would love to get some support on my new channel and some constructive criticism for how to improve!
Where was the other? There was one brown and one red they were both near the back.
It should be right in the zip with the achievements list... Unless he messed up with v2.4.1 cause it was there in 2.4
