Vetches, I found an easy exploit in Inferno Mines. Infinite enchanting books and anvils and iron swords and stone picks really early on. The lower mines netherbrick rail line spawns those chest carts over and over and over again which gives you infinite good loot. Maybe you intended it but it seems a little too generous. Loving the map By the Way!

I also found the Lower Mines harder than Everforge. With a diamond projectile unbreaking chestplate, I just kind of stormed in and conquered the place. However, I did slightly tunnel to get the wool, as that final room with the creepers, witches, and blazes was very challenging, especially with having to fight close quarters and dealing with a staircase too. Those dang zistykins and witches in the lower mines is very challenging. I am still working on it.
Why can't you just go around to the other side to avoid the Zistykins? I mean, it isn't cheap, as he made the path for you....
Last I checked, you can grow trees in desert biomes.
Not without ugly baby barf leaves.

There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.
Aesthetics aren't the most important thing when trying to control a player's experience. And beside, why not just set the skylight are to desert?
Aesthetics are as important as gameplay. The map maker's goal is to not only cater for the player's enjoyment, but to also visually impress them. Think of three_two's maps, they are crafted with the most intricate details, and still provide a lot of fun (albeit very difficult). Most people generally remember the most stunning looking areas, so aesthetics is definitely high up in the list in a player's experience.

I found the area by just following the tracks on the nether brick, to see where the chain skeleton stack spawners were. At first, I wanted to make a metal armour farm, but those dang pigmen got in the way. (I could never bring myself to destroy a battlesign spawner.) So, I haven't found the other entrance to the area, or the fleecy box. But, I haven't followed the wooden tracks to their extent yet as they go to the right and down from the area entrance. I guess that is my next plan of action, but I need to regroup my stuff after hitting a tnt cart, and blowing myself up. (A second cart destroyed all my stuff.)
The download doesn't seem to work for me. I get to the page fine, click on, "Slow Download", it takes me to this link, and then nothing happens. All I get is a blank page. I checked it using the Javascript console, and there is very little, and nothing about any download. I know other people seem to be able to get it, but I can't. As far as I'm aware this problem is also experienced by some others, but only complaining in the download's comments, rather than here. Maybe Vechz could make an alternate download and use dropbox or something else?
So i'm playing inferno mines and the only wool I can't find is the blue wool. Can anyone help me?
you should explore the places better. wools are not always in obvious locations
btw i found some chunks of Hell/Nether biome
I built a bridge/railway from the Skylight A stairs to Intersection 3 and ~20 Blocks from the staircase some normal Zombiepigmen and also 2 Ghasts spawned. Its only about 2 or 3 Chumks, but those spawnes can be pretty anoying.
Does anyone know where intersection 4 is? Been stuck for ages
Edit: By that, I mean on IM
There is no actual "intersection 4", unless you mean the Vexian Gallery. I'm just going to assume you've completed I3 and found the VM? Go to the teleporter room and take the one to the Outer Inferno (camp ember).

I'm loving inferno mines so far haven't really done much but its going to be great I know it :D...I derped twice before I even left the spawn platform...made the same mistake both times LIKE A NOOB
That's intentional.

You have a really nice voice; my one piece of advice is to sound more energetic when you speak.

Or even quicker, just use TNT carts to take out those spawners. Easy peasy.

You could set the whole thing to Nether. You'd be able to control natural spawns more, plus get natural Ghast spawns!
No rain, either.

Bad plan. XD
As I said, why not just have areas with exposed sky turned to desert? In IM, for example, that isn't very much.

Let's play: Read the front post very thoroughly.
EDIT: Oh
Well my apologies for being such an ****, I will pay more attention next time. Thanks for the quick reply!
