I got dis one. *Ahem* Which map are you talking about? There are <12 of them.
Sorry, had multiple tabs open and I posted on this one by accident, I found this thread in April 2012 and have beat Sunburn Islands and Sea of Flame 2. Also, I wonder is dungeons of VechsMoore will be released eventually?

That's actually a really good question. After Joe LP'd it, I was super psyched for this new concept, but Vechs hasn't said a thing about it.
Info, plox?

Hallo, guys. I know I have been conspicuously absent for a time, but this semester's been hella busy for me. Anyway, it seems pretty clear to me that taking away a creeper's explosion does little to help its emotional stability -- they get a bit... dramatic.
I guess that's the norm when your only remaining ability is to self-terminate. [hope that didn't sound too depressing].
[Also, this is referring to the harmless charged creepers in Vechs' Uncharted Territories 2 Let's Play, for those wondering.]
And yes, the enchants count as on the book as a melee weapon. I can hit mobs and they take all the effects.
Secondly, instead of making the thorn enchantment have a whole bunch of customizeable options, Mojang should just implement this:
Whatever thorn enchant is there determines the chances of the thorn enchant taking effect, and then any extra enchantments for melee weapons will be taken into the effect with the thorn. Not saying that this should be implemented into vanilla via enchanting books (unless some enchants are seriously weakened while on armor), but it'd be great for mapmakers, and might be easier than adding more tags.

Nah. I feel that takes away from a choice kind of loot -- good armor or a good weapon. It'd be easier with more tags for that versus a function like that that interferes with potential loot options.
vechs I am both excited and scared to start playing black desert 2 . any words of advice for a veteran of linear-branching maps?
Always keep everything you aren't using, and a set of backup armor / weapons / food stored near spawn so that you have a way to recover from unexpected death

Please only+ me if I post something funny or informative.
So in anticipation for Inferno Mines I am re-watching Zisteau's Kaizo Caverns series and the quote in episode 6 really struck home in my heart XD "Use a sign like God intended you too" best quote ever!

There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.

I just made a 2nd attempt at playing SoF2 on UHC. I died with no wool by blazes near the potions low chest near the starter island. It is tense and hard at the same time. It makes SoF2 a nightmare to play. I can only imagine WU with UHC(the pain would be great).
good news, I've made a map of Legion Halls from waking up. Although quick question for Vechs: would you prefer i didnt upload it or would it only make a minor difference?

Just put it in a spoiler tag and it'll be fine. Maybe, if you feel like it, add some description outside the spoiler tag so that people know what they're clicking on. Just general good practice.

It's beautiful. <3
Also,

WHAT?!
Danger zone.

Firstly, the map is an abandoned beta so it might be quite glitchy/unpolished. It's also open world.
Be stingy, and be very good at fighting. There are very few things you don't get from mobs. Farming resources from these mobs is highly suggested.

If you've reached Frozen Venom then yes, it's laggy. If not, it's your computer.

Big TNT traps are buggy, and frozen venom is really laggy, other than that, no

Some areas are, but most of them no.
If you're still having lag, get Optifine.
