Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
Vechs. Vechs. Hey Vechs. I feel that the most irritating ways to die are: Skeletons swarm you and you can't do anything about it with a sword, Skeleton sniped you when low on health, Skeleton snipes you and you fall in to lava, Skeletons existing. VECHS. Y U NO ADD MORE ANTI SKELETON LOOT?!?!

He's added a few things. I'm hoping for a Projectile Protection IV chestplate somewhere early in IM because yeah to heck with skeletons.
Trapped Chest, Weighted Pressure Plate (Light), Weighted Pressure Plate (Heavy), tile.comparator.name (2 of these, one for on-state and one for off-state. These are the blocksets for the new Comparator), Daylight Sensor, Block of Redstone, Nether Quartz Ore, and the Hopper.
As for items. we have the Redstone Comparator, Nether Brick, and Nether Quartz.
- Block of Redstone is crafted with 9 Redstone
- Nether Brick is made by smelting Netherrack, and 4 of these can be crafted into Nether Bricks
- Light and Heavy pressure plates are made with 2 gold and iron ingots respectively

Hey, guys. Been getting bored with Minecraft lately, so I figured I'd give a Vechs map a shot. I tried Canopy Carnage AGES ago, but never got far. Mods grabbed my attention before I got anywhere on that >.>
Anyway, I was wondering what map you all would recommend for a relative newcomer to Super Hostile. Erm.... after the training map, of course. I tried Kaizo Caverns and kind of just died repeatedly in the Lava Caverns area >.> Damn you and your coal-based TNT traps, Vechs. So I came to the realization that I might have just grabbed one of the harder maps. If Kaizo is one of the "easy" (relatively) maps, then I'll go give that another try, but I figured I'd get recommendations, first xD
Thanks
OH. Additional Info: I have a computer that is what I "affectionately" refer to as a festering pile of crap, so stuff that would kill my computer is kind of not going to work at all.
Youtube: TheEzzran (but I don't have anything uploaded yet. Stupid computer not liking recording)
I'll be using that youtube account to upload Minecraft Let's Plays when I get a better computer

Kaizo Caverns is one of the medium-difficulty maps (relative to super hostile) A better start would probably be either Infernal Sky II, Sea of Flame II, or Sunburn Islands.

Try Infernal Sky II. One of my first maps, one of of the easiest.

Sea of flame is a good starter. Also look at spellbound. Rough start, but it gives you a feel for super hostile.

That's three mass invasions within the same bloody month! I mean, seriously! The UDTU is attacking now, Blue has a sleeper attack coming soon, and now an invasion by space pirates? What is this, Russia if every american-made FPS happened at once?! - MagicallyDwarven

Redstone block, FINALLY. Making Nether Brick with Netherrack, YES. Trapped chest, SUPERB. Hopper, ALLOFMYYES. Nether Quartz, YAY.
1.5 is lookin' good.EDIT: Just looked at the hopper. HA! It's alot cheaper than the FTB one. Me gusta another use for smooth stone.EDIT EDIT: ZOMG THE REDSTONE BLOCK GIVES OFF A SIGNAL AND CAN BE PUSHED BY PISTONS! The possibilities...

I wouldn't mind a little help :3
WHAT?!
Danger zone.
The chest that was added will be perfect for Vechs- it will work as a brand new tnt trap!
You can see a small red tracing around the lock of the chest. It's noticeable if you're looking for it, so it can be sniffed out.
WHAT?!
Danger zone.
Even Vechs says he isn't evil.
The persona he embodies in his maps are meant to be evil, but in a couple circumstances, he even helps you, and just ends up creating a troll.
Give me one good example of something truly evil and I'll reevaluate my life based on those ideas.

Darn.
It'd be good to scare people with.
You could take all of someone's chests and make them trapped.
Maybe one could trigger a snare beat every couple seconds or so, indicating a bomb that doesn't exist.
Redstone Block for the Monument. You have to disarm traps in order to get it

I just finished Waking Up,then went into Creative and spent a good few hours blowing it to pieces
