I played nearly all your super hostile maps. I even played Ledgendary and I completed it!!! :rolleyes:I ledgendary was my favorite of all super hostile maps.
My body is ready for Spellbound Caves. I just did a creeper reaction course, 24 hours in the room where all the skeletons scream shoot at you, five revisions on enchanting and taping my W key back together for sprint. Also, I had a taco. Want some, Vechs?
Here's the second episode of my let's play sea of flame II. I have more uploaded on my channel, feel free to browse around! :biggrin.gif: So far I'm really enjoying recording myself play. I'm looking forward to Spellbound caves, but will probably still do Kaizo before that. Should be a lot of fun coming up.
Now! To the point! ^__^'
I would like to suggest a new kind of map (I don't know if it was suggested before or not, but it's something I would like to see and play on).
What I thought of was: A co-op like map, where you could only go forward when 2 players are in that spot, or only 2 players are able to pass that "stage" with team work, like pressing two buttons at the same time, or 2 pressure plates, or even when you pass the path gets blown up or blocked of some how...
I don't really know for sure how and what would be the best way to do it. But this is just a suggestion, the rest is up to you.
These aren't puzzle maps, and I like that I don't have to think whilst playing his maps. I'd rather keep it that way. :3
I've beaten Sea of Flame II and Infernal Sky II both before the recent updates to 1.0.0 content, so is it worth while going back and re-playing those maps?
I am currently in Sunburn Islands and am kind of holding off on Kaizo and Legendary and others until I have a better, faster computer (currently playing on my laptop), so I was thinking I might go back and re-play SoF and IS but I wasn't sure if they'd be different enough to be worth re-playing.

Hey XNavyNuke, if you enjoyed those maps then I would have to say 'yes' it's worth going back and replaying with the new content. Even if all you use are the enchanted signs, it's a blast and you'll have the advantage of knowing your way around already. I haven't actually played the new versions of these 2 yet, but I have done Kaizo before and after the updates, there was a lot of new content. Including an entirely new area.
I am going to play through the new versions of Sea of Flame II and Infernal Sky II soon, although there are certain dungeons I am not looking forward to repeating...I basically end up going for the diamonds first, then blasting my way through the rest of the map looking for new stuff.
Know what you mean about a faster computer. Had to upgrade recently so I could play Legendary.

My computer is not horrible for these maps, actually a little better on the SH maps than on Minecraft Original, mostly I want to be able to record my game play.
Perhaps I will revisit SoF and IS after Sunburn Islands.
The new map is linear branching and Joe Hills said it was classified as Average difficulty.
Vechs maybe you should do something about the monument 1.0 destroys all those lovely signs because they're on glass and putting the wool on the floor is not the same thing :sad.gif:
*facepalm*
You can place signs on glass. You could always place signs on glass, even before glowstone existed.
Clearly you didn't actually TEST this in game...
Well something must be off with my game, I can put on glowstone but glass doesn't work, I have a small drop change so glass drops glass but that shouldn't break the mechanics
Clearly your mod is affecting the sign-placement. Ask the mod developer.
Hey guys, I am planning on doing a LP on the new map when it comes out (of course), and I would like your opinions: would you like to see a Let's play of someone trying to complete this map for the first time on Hardcore?
It may be a short LP by many standards because of, you know, dying, but I think it could be fun. Let me know what you guys think, and I will start asap!

Well, if Joe Hills' LP is any indication, that series would be short indeed. Not saying that you're better or worse than Joe Hills...

IMO a hardcore playthrough of any of Vechs maps would need to be done with some experience. Regardless of how good you are, Vechs still includes general dickery in any given map, regardless of the rating, so you may want to play through it at least once :wink.gif: just my opinion.

Yeah, good idea. BUT, that would ruin the experience of the viewer, you must admit. I did manage to complete Nightmare on hardcore previously, but that was both offscreen (less pressure) and I took my bloody sweet time (even less pressure =P). Experience is good on a map for hardcore, but it isn't fair for the viewers who get to laugh at our misfortune!
To add excitement. He wants as many people as possible to be able to get a hold of it and play it right off the bat. Just like any other marketing.
I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate HATE skeletons!
Obviously this will be massive spoilers though, so keep that in mind.
