I didn't even know that blood magic was still updating for 1.6 since they did the 1.7 version. Maybe list what versions of the other mods you need for yours to work to its full extent. I'll go and update that and hope that fixed it.
Heheh. That's what I thought too and all these updates suddenly showed up and have been breaking compatibility and requiring further patching. Keeping FM compatible with all these mods as once is like trying to juggle eggs. It's just as confusing for me as it is for everyone trying to play.
Generally, the best bet is to use the latest version of my mod and the latest version of The Other Mod, as I'll always try and be compatible with the current version. You can see compatibility notes in the changelog when I update.
Hello, thaumaturges. I'd like to take a brief moment to draw attention to something important to me.
Recently, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctors are hopeful that we can beat this without chemotherapy this time, but she needs surgery and we don't have money for the copay.
I feel kinda helpless knowing I can apparently make a mod popular enough to get into multiple FTB packs, the Resonant Rise pack, and the freaking Yogspack, but can't actually find myself a paying job to help my grandparents out. So, I'm gonna try and put my minor starpower to some good use.
Please, if you enjoy my mod, consider checking out the donation link in the OP. It would really mean a lot to me.

BEHOLD! The most useful item to ever grace Thaumcraft!
Never running out of ink again? Useful... On a multiplayer server. I doubt I will be using that as more than a statement of "I've got KAMI stuff, what'cha gonna do about it?" Cool as infinite ink sounds, I tend to refill my tools... What, one or two more times when I've reached KAMI research? I'd much rather stick to my red ink.

If I'm rude to you, just tell me. Don't take it too personally. Well, unless you were being stupid. If you were, DO take it personally.
I still think I've set the item up as profoundly useless for what would normally be a handy tool.
There is a golden rule when adding items like this: Players WILL find a way to make it useful and slightly over powered. Anything that is a joke can be abused by someone who doesn't get the punch line.

Question not the mad-mans ways, for you may begin to see logic in his actions, then find yourself mad as well.
You may call me The Madman, as there is no name that suits me better.
I happen to make modded survival maps, if your interested see my latest: The Asylum
Btw... wrath cage + ichor = dont need essentia.. i think is a nice idea xD and one question is possible spawn withers skeletons in fortress with the cage?
Would a similar device be possible in your mod? Maybe it could be used to track nodes, dungeons, and magical contraptions.
Also, do you plan on adding Witchery support?
Good ol' SCP. The Thaumic Cake was actually inspired by SCP 871.
Programming a magical compass for detecting nearby nodes/dungeons/etc might be a bit above my programming ability. It also may not be very server-friendly. Sorry.
I do want some sort of Witchery interaction, but nothing concrete is planned at the moment.

If you put a skeleton wrath cage in the nether, it'll spawn wither skeletons.
What about a rowan wand core for witchery support?
It isn't the material to make the wand that is a problem, it is what the effect of the wand will be. We can't use altar power to charge the wand(Far too cheap), we can't use infusion power(Far to finite), so we have hit a bit of a road block.

What about a rowan wand core for witchery support? Also, lockable rowan chests might be a good idea.
Also, for a node compass, why not look at the code for the ender eyes? They are used to track down strongholds.
First off, Hawthorn is waaaaaaaaay prettier than Rowan.
Second of all, ender eyes look at the map seed and calculate where the stronghold should've generated. You can blast a stronghold to dust with TNT and the ender eye will still think it's there. Or, you can play a pre-beta 1.8 map that doesn't have strongholds and the ender eye will still pretend there's strongholds.
Nodes, unlike strongholds, are extremely portable. There isn't some set "NODE BE HERE!" location that a node will eternally be at. Ender Eye code is completely and utterly worthless in this respect.

Looks like my grandmother will be having her surgery as planned. Thank you, everyone, for your support and well wishes.
In other news, looks like I'll be sneaking some more content into the mod:
I never bothered to tell you that my modpack http://technicpack.n.../details/treeit or http://www.treeit.us or http://forum.treeit.us uses Forbidden Magic v0.3 -- I will be updating it to your latest version (0.333) soon... sorry for not mentioning it :P.
Great work, by the way!

Except... if you've got Thaumic Tinkerer, why aren't you just giving them a Tome of Knowledge Sharing? >_>
In other words, some severs disable the tome of knowledge sharing.

After the genocide I've done to make KAMI armor and tools, one ingot is nothing.

Never forget the Wither Genocide. :C
Bound shears? Really? Is that something new in FM or Blood Magic?
