I also seem to be having the same problem with the smeltery not draining(on 1.6.2 myself), I can smelt everything down, but it's not coming out of the drain when I right click on it. I'm running 31 mods so I'm not certain where along the line the problem lies, but if I'm not the only one or if there's any infromation that might help that'd be great.
Hope to see it to have version-independant builds, since Metallurgy and Tinker's Construct both have that. And it is awkward to have updated version of Tinker's Construct on 1.6.2 and not being able to use 0.5.1 or 0.5.2 build of ExtraTiC...
Actually 0.5.2 should be compatible with 1.6.2 and 1.6.4 just not tested, but it's not compatible with TiC 1.5 due to some changes that the next version have a fix for.

There was some issue in one of the TiC dev builds that made draining not possible, if it's not draining all metals in the newest version, kindly check the TiC post for help.
Welp, looking forward to the update more than ever on learning that the existence of this mod has made Metallurgy's incompatibility issues (with TiC and otherwise) "not a bug". I miss being able to use Metallurgy metals in the smeltery - not just the ores, but smelted bronze and steel; all things that should work natively.
Anyway, hope whatever's in your way clears up promptly! Never realized how accustomed I got to having this mod until updates broke it.
Say, will the Metallurgy tool sprites be the same as most Tinkers' items? Or there might be a point of making molds out of RPG-ish designs of Metallurgy weapons someday?

Meh, I don't really see the use of having to make new molds for every tier of metal...to me it sounds like it could get pattern chests very very cluttered. But, that's just my view of it. Also it sounds like a lot of unneeded work for Glassmaker, since they could just already use the provided molds.
Thooough, speaking of molds, making molds for Balkan's Weapons mod's weapon parts had also been a little thought of mine, but, eh, again, isn't that serious of a thing to be added. That would be like a later thing to do if at all.
EDIT: Or, maybe it wouldn't be so hard after all, just, a new way to make them, like a halberd would be in four parts like the others, being the two rods/sticks, a hatchet head and a knife blade, a spear being two sticks and a knife blade, etc, etc.
Again, still sounds like a later thing to do if at all.
Look at their snazzy designs, we can't let their designs go to waste. Who would want to make an Alumite Serrated Sword [refer to Adamantium Sword] (more cutting power against the living, lightly-armored things)?
Excuse me... May I get MT Add-on ofr 1.5.2 ? I don't like New MC Launcher. It's use to hard. Because I use old launcher, So I use TC and Metallurgy and more mod for 1.5.2 Why don't U make Add-on for 1.5.2?

Totally understandable, but consider this, if we use different designs for each metal, then we need a casting for each part design to make it look nice, also that means we need more design for multiple combinations, and we need to make the other parts and modifiers compatible too. which would result of thousands of items, textures and variations for compatibility.
So, upon that I have decided to go with Tinker's Construct design for all metallurgy metals parts and weapons so they will be compatible with Tinker's Construct's combinations.
By they way, you can still get awesome tools if you use TiC's designs, example bellow is a mix of Tinker's parts / modifiers and Metallurgy parts:

1.7 is around the corner, so it's too late to start a 1.5.2 port, plus I'm working on the mod in my free time.

You have a fantastic idea here and I would LOVE to see this implemented, however, im not sure that would fall on glassmakers shoulders.
EDIT: as long as were talking about the molds for balkons THIS mod has amazing features and already adds support for a bunch of mods, Id love to see this become compatible as well/instead of balkons.
Thank you for working on this. I hope it continues to evolve and develop. I am not currently using Metallurgy because I would have to have this working for me to do so. (and because I'm using GregTech and his Configs are damn near impossible to understand at times, even though few people put as much work into their configs as him, so still, I think Highly of Greg regardless of how stupid hard GT is getting because he always provides the option to change it as you see fit.
Except for Tin Buckets. Never again shall we have buckets made of Tin, and I for one welcome this)

Guess it won't be a long wait till you play with Metallurgy again.

Urgh. This mod alone is going to end up being the deciding factor on finally updating, watch. Full compatibility between Metallurgy and Tinkers' is basically a dream come true.

Iquana tweaks support are currently not in the plan, but who knows what will happen in the future.

Sorry WineBox,
The final Minecraft 1.7 snapshot have been released, and Minecraft 1.7 should be released on friday.
Upon that, MCP and forge developers are working to get their stuff ready for Minecraft 1.7.
So, the time is up for 1.5.2, and the people have to move to at least 1.6.2.
Hope you understand.
