The mod just didn't show up in my inventory tabs, nor in my mods list.
I'm using the MindCrack (still 1.4.7) mod pack in FtB. The launcher recognizes the Mod and API without any issues.
yes but a lot of it can produce a lot or to power small machines such as projectors,it's really usefull since it doesn't require any fuel and can work everytimes (but I'm just discovering that the water mill too,so windmill could be uninteressing,exept if you make them really cheap to produce)
The thing is, nothing requires less than a DC engine, and a Steam engine is only 15kW more than a DC, and a Ethanol Engine is only 48kW more than that, an AC 67kW more, and a Performance 131kW more than that. There used to be a 1.7MW difference between MicroTurbine and Performance, but with the hydro engine now put at 524kW, the spacing is more regular. A wind turbine cannot possibly go here unless we are talking on the scale of industrial wind farm turbines, and those are the size of train cars.
That said, I am getting ideas - making them only work on top of mountains, for example (an idea I remember from SimCity 3000).

The projector is no longer designed for the CCTVs. It is instead going to draw wallpaper-like images. Video files are far too large and resource intensive for the game.

No, I am not going to include electricity. At all. Not only is that a completely different approach to a power system, but there are enough electricity-based mods as it is, and people are already complaining about RC when they think it uses electricity.

Actually, it just moves the camera, not the player. But the current system is only for testing purposes. It will likely have some sort of receiver machine or item that you use.

You could do that without DragonAPI (it is not like BC's API; it has no connection to RotaryCraft other than that RC uses it), but using it would make your coding job a lot easier.

(yes,my electricity system was a lot different than other mods one,I just wanted an alternator to convert mecanical power to electricity with a lot of power loose,an electric cable (obviously) and make the AC engine no longer use redstone but alternative electricity powered by the alternator to convert electricity back to mecanical power (still with a lot of wasted power) moreover,this electricity system would have been a lot expensive with a lot of power loose with only one purpose : power machines that can't run with gears such as screen,so it wouldn't have been overpowered like IC²; or BC)
that's why this high-tech addon for your (already awesome) mod will never be made by me =(
but it's not an huge problem since I understand (a lot) your point of view and maybee that won't fit with your mod (badly)

it may be overpowered in some mods and unrealistic in some other but it do a lot of stuff for you without a lot of complicated things

I am trying to add this to my FTB Ultimate pack (Using V18 for 1.4.7) and every time I try I get an error, using exactly the things you mention in your post for that update. It is telling me that the block render class isn't there, but I have checked and it is right there. Here is the error log.

I notice you have multiple versions of DragonAPI. You also left the main download zip for RC in your mods folder.
Try cleaning the mods folder. It is likely reading (very) old copies of DragonAPI.
Also, a heads-up for those with Survival worlds: You will need to change a few labels in the config file right before you run MC for the first time after updating:

Having great fun with the mod so far, however when trying to create jet fuel I can't seem to figure out how to make the Tar Sand. I put the Soul Sand in the grinder but it just makes sludge, is this normal? I've read the handbook over and over and I can't seem to figure out another way of making it.

That is a serious bug and has been fixed. How it happened is beyond me, as I have not changed its recipes control file in three months.

Hello ratmage99, I know im not here alot, but judging by your circumbstance I would say you need to place some lava under the blast furnace to reach its full functionality. I do know the furnace requires high heat, hope this helps.

Looking at your thermometer, you are not yet at 600 degrees centigrade. That is a requirement for the steelmaking process.

How do I reach that? I have put lava underneath the blast furnace, and I've even tried putting another block on the side, but that's the highest the heat ever reaches.

This mod looks awesome! Have you tested massive contraptions and whether they cause lag or not, visual or server? I want to add this to my server when it's no longer a work in progress, and definitely going to follow this. I will probably test it out a bit in SSP.
For some reason, installation of this mod makes many inventory textures of items completely invisible, though they can still be placed/used as normal. This includes most vanilla items as well as items from many other mods. Has anybody else experienced this/figured out a way to fix it?
This mod doesn't want to install for me. I can install Forge fine, but when I put in Rotarycraft and the API, the Launcher deletes and redownloads the minecraft.jar. What am I doing wrong?

It depends on your computer specs. I have a strong CPU, and I can do crazy things and get no FPS lag whatsoever. Additionally, my piece-of-crap laptop can manage it without too much of a hit.

524kW is 524288 (abbreviated)... "k" means kilo, meaning one thousand.
