This would be awesome with a Borderlands map (would be huge) with all the DLC worlds as well. That would be epic. Definitely getting this for my private server. I'm not sure why this isn't more popular. Especially since there is a Minecraft easter egg in Borderlands 2, and should bring Borderlands players to Minecraft.
Honesyly 300+ downloads? A bit lousy on the community's behalf. Great looking mod anyways. Glad to be a Beta tester.

Thought I'd just give an update on how things are going.
Finally put some time aside to work on this a bit more, felt like working on grenade mods, and so far, here's what's done:
It now shows how many grenades you have right over where your ammo count would be, you can press the g button to throw grenades, and grenade mods currently only change the grenade's type, of which I've only added sticky (sticks to enemies, doesn't move once landed on ground) and homing (flies towards nearest enemy), both which still require some tweaking.
No specific date to when this will all be done, but hopefully won't be too long. Definitely want to get in a few more types like MIRV, Transfusion, and elemental effects, along with figuring out what stats I want to give grenade mods (probably just explosion size and fuse time), and any textures I may need.
Lastly, not promising anything, but I have been messing around with GUI a fair bit and am thinking about also adding in maybe gun vending machines that might spawn randomly, or possibly only in towns. It'd add another way to get these items other than villagers and random drops, but we'll see what happens, and if I do, whether it would be in the next update or not.

Funny you say that, I originally took the snowball code to start from, but the physics were quite wonky since they weren't meant to stick around after hitting something, so I ended up using the item entity code, so it's just like hitting q, except the item goes a lot further. Right now they all explode after two seconds, but next on the list is fuse time for grenade mods. That, of course, is just for the regular grenades though, the homing grenades act more like xp orbs, and sticky grenades act more like arrows.

OH and you should really add Skags and rakk cause that would be awesome oh and a block called Skag Pile that when you break it ammo, a gun or something will drop from it Cause that would be cool and i bet that other people would want these things
Just another quick update, the basics to all the grenades are pretty much done. I've added lobbed, transfusion, MIRV, sticky, homing, elemental, bouncing bettie, and singularity grenades, and they have randomized fuse times. It all definitely needs a tiny bit more tweaking, and textures are definitely lacking, so it'll probably be a bit before they're completely done. Still not sure if I'm going to release the next version when I'm done with them, or if I can fit anything else in first. At this rate though, another update may not be all that far away!

I dunno if I'm going to end up adding more mobs or not because I'm not really all that good with models and animations. Plus, there are mods that do that already, when I came up with this mod, it was sort of to be supplemental to the ones already out there, especially since I knew I couldn't do EVERYTHING on my own, as much as I'd have liked to. I had thought about the skag pile idea before, so that might make it in. If not that, I may make grass sometimes drop items.
Doesn't look like it's out yet, but: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1524667- is one of the few other Borderlands mods I've seen out there, and it does promise skags and rakk. When making this mod, I definitely didn't want to get in the way of the others that had already been started, so the main idea of this, like I've said, was just to add items from borderlands and be supplemental to the other mods, rather than work on mobs and other sort of systems which I know I couldn't handle on my own.

Added grenade mods with quite a few different types of grenades (I'll leave it to you to try them all out.), and a properties file to change item and block ids, along with turning off version checking if you feel so inclined.
Hopefully everything should be working alright, I've spent quite a bit of time trying to iron out all of the bugs. It may still need some tweaking, and in my opinion the textures and effects are still a bit lacking, but as is, it's about where I wanted it to be.
Anyways, have fun! And try not to kill yourself in survival TOO often with grenades.
And, as always, if you find any bugs, be sure to leave them here!
Next update might be max capacity upgrades, seeing as in survival you run out of grenades quite quickly, and they're not TOO commonly found, but some grenades can be quite strong, so it's still decently balanced in my opinion.
If anymore information is needed then please just ask
Whoops! Says it can't find my other mod, so I might have accidentally done something somewhere or another that it needs me other mod in order for it to work, probably just an accidental import, I'll clear that up ASAP. Should take less than 5 minutes.

Modded grenades too, I assume? Like incendiary, stickies and so forth?
Stickies. I'm interested in how those are going to work. I'm downloading 0.0.6 now. Can't wait for you to add rifles, snipers and shotguns. You should make it so that zombies drop brains aswell. Like in the Zombie DLC. And add achievements that are pretty much the same as the achievements on the game. That would be epic. But would take SOO long. Anyway. Better go download this now. Bye.

Wow, cool, grenades? Do they work like snowballs?
