...it's hard to imagine, do you want a video showing that "slowness" and the Tinker's table config?
It is hard to know exactly what you mean without seeing it. I guess what I'd suggest is that you double-check that you have the latest versions of both Forge and the PowerSuit mod completely up to date, and check to see if that doesn't resolve your problem. And then maybe double-check the latest PowerSuit update changelogs, in case something subtle has changed. And if you can't fix it doing those things, then you might as well post a video or at least screenshots documenting the problem; maybe you've found a bug. Not sure what else to suggest~
Would it be possible to allow wireless charging in this mod? I was reading the website on the 'draining power through the tool', but I reckon wireless would be so much cooler and yes, I did read the warning about suggestions.

No I will not, jesus god. When will you people stop pooping up my thread with retarded ideas?
It's likely a lot of these people enjoy having you yelling at them.
Anyway, I have a suggestion you'll actually like:
Create a "suggestion box" on your website and put a link in the OP saying that all suggestions should go there because "you read that so much more often". All the suggestion box should do when you hit submit is send you to a thank you page and remind the user that if they have more suggestions (or if they want to resubmit the same suggestion multiple times to improve the chances of their feature getting implemented) they can use the form again, but posting the suggestions on the forum isn't likely to get added to the queue. Obviously, the suggestions are lost ( ) and you never have to read them again.
There's a bonus to this approach: if you ever actually want suggestions, you can rewire the suggestion box. If you get fed up with them again, a small change is all that's necessary.
The only downside is that potentially people will see this post and realize what's going on. But then again, I can always edit my post later if you accept this suggestion and it'll just say "ermahgerd ersum merd" or something like that.

That's a really good suggestion and thank you! I have decided I am going to be more manipulative and less outright nasty in the future so this is an excellent tie-in.

love your mod machinemuse although to some of the people who have posted you are quite harsh. You gotta remember that half of the users are 11-12 year olds who dont understand simple commands
they also don't understand subtle insults so I have to be straightforward and blunt if I'm going to tell them they suck.
Hi I was just wondering, are the suits supposed to use energy from items in your inventory directly or is that a bug?
For me its using energy from unequipped pieces or even a redstone energy cell, it seems like an easy way to get around the weight of a battery if its not a bug.
yes they are supposed to, I'll change the order soon

I hope its not to much off-topic, but where did you get your inspiration from to make this mod? just curious thats all!
From her site:
"Modular Powersuits is a Minecraft mod based around the idea of an inventor who tinkers with high-tech electronics and makes a suit of powered armor chock-full of useful gadgets and features. Inspired by heroes like Iron Man, Megaman, and Samus Aran, as well as by the high-tech armor in mods like EE2 and IC2."
Suggestion for Andrew: you could make the biome-dependent cooling also check if the player is under a "roof" or not.

XD I only wish I'd thought to suggest this sooner...

Looks like it has something to do with the recipes? I don't know..
I am using Minecraft 1.5.1 with it's recommended version of Forge and IC2. Both the .jar files are in the Mods folder. I also have the Better Generation 4 mod installed but I see no reason why that would cause an issue..
It works fine without the Powersuits jars.
I also tried it without the addons jar, same crash happened.
I came here to thank you for making this mod. I spent my entire Sunday on it with Galacticraft. In fact, thanks to crummy19 I discovered your mod. He posted in the reddit the new Galacticraft Lander for Tekkit, I installed it to check that out, then I stumbled upon your mod and saw the new MPS model, that was so jaw-dropping.
Interestingly, both mods go along pretty well. I had lots of fun.
The armor is quite massive, I think the hands shouldn't be left uncovered; depending on the angle, it seems the arms lack the hands. There should have some kind of rubber "glove". Just an idea.
I've had some troubles to use the plasma cannon. Lots of times the charging is canceled while I hold down the left mouse button; the arm tool instead of staying straight it keeps reseting and doesn't let me to charge to the max; but sometimes I can. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I noticed when I use less armor, the arm tool worked almost 100%. I checked the batteries, they all are 25~50% higher than the energy required.
Out of curiosity: do you have plans to add wings and jets to the model? That's because the Tekkit has into with a "guy" with wings and jetpack.
Methinks you need to update Forge.
Also use spoilers.

I usually do, but this time i didn't sorry about that.
Why did it get removed?EDIT: yep found out, can't wait for the new custom color module/ui stuff

I think that would be better then outright patching the bug of ice counters the movement boosting, so ice ends up acting like soulsand.
It would be logical too. Like putting snow tires or chains on your car.
