Atlantean Technology parts (by Thylaco)
These function near identically to relic scraps, except for Atlantean technology, being used as "instructions"to mend the technology in the Archeology workbench and when analysed has a chance of yielding a specific historical record. They also have a chance of being a drop from fossil blocks.
Historical records (by Thylaco)
These are obtained from analysing Atlantean Technology parts. They contain the history of Atlantis, but since you cannot read them, you need a translator to translate them into images.
Swimming Goggles (by Thylaco)
How would you get to Atlantis if you could not see it? Wearing these gets rid of under water fog.
Air Tank (by Thylaco)
As you could probably guess, this extends the amount of time you have underwater, the problem is that, being full of air, it keeps you afloat. (no flaws in that logic ) this effect does not effect a Plesiosaur rider
Weight belt (by Thylaco)
This counters the buoyancy effect of the air tank, but wearing this will prevent you from flying on a Pteranodon.(This is the closest to pants I will go, any closer and I will not wear it.)
Flippers (by Thylaco)
These help you move faster in the water, but slower on land when worn.
Mini laser weapon (by Thylaco)
Small but deadly, this weapon can be found broken in an Atlantic city and repaired on the archeology workbench
Blocks
Cave Paintings (by Thylaco)
Functionally identical to paintings and stoneboards, like stoneboards you will have to determine what they mean.
Translator (by Thylaco)
Produces an holographic projection relating to the Historical record inserted, these are red stone powered and often found in Atlantean cities, however in the present they are broken and need to be mended at an archeology workbench, using Atlantean Technology parts instead of relic scraps as "instructions".
Atlantean Brick (by Thylaco)
Functionally identical to brick, though aesthetically differing with a fish scale pattern of mostly blues and greens, it has no crafting recipe yet, but requires a stone pickaxe to mine (like iron blocks) and is only found as part of or near an Atlantic city. In the present they are cracked, but 10 000 years ago were smooth

Wow these models are amazing I really like the ones by exdragonith he's chosen some interesting creatures I don't know much in coding but I'm currently studying Zooarchaeology meaning I can help quite a bit with the design and features of them

Yeah, he fits pretty closely to the style of the mod itself.
How do you mean by interesting? Because in general it's a more or less typical representative list of key animal lineages not represented by the mod, as far as I'm concerned every extinct species is interesting.
Also what part of Palaeozoology are you studying exactly?
How exactly were you thinking in terms of design improvement? Keeping in mind that model designs in the mod itself are more biased towards a Jurassic Park style of model which is then cartoonified.
Or were you thinking more along the lines of behaviours or poses. Please do elaborate.
Thanks for adding my model
Hmm... I will look through my The Lost World book for any dinos that aren't made, but I think you covered all the animals ( Yes dinosaurs are animals, and I do have the JPII book )
Good idea, but some models must revised like the mikroraptor model...
Some models are very cool
I could made some models, if jou need them
(you need a deinonychus!!!!!)

Sorry, by interesting creatures I mean how they actually fit in the game such as the orthomimus large groups of dinosaurs with slightly Bird like characteristics they are omnivorous one food source they could eat would be fish. They could gather around water sources and im not sure i think they are nocturnal you could make them fast breeding and they could become a viable food source. But really all the dinosaurs would fit into the game and are great models i think the design that went into them must have really impressed me.
Vertebrate paeleozoology
Behavior, what it would eat, speed, poses, sounds so on and so on.
foreverblu, I'm sure we could use you to some degree.
tyranno66, I don't know, maybe look at some ancient animal groups that aren't already represented, like Therizinosaurs for example, or have a look at JP Operation Genesis animals like Carcharodontosaurus or Kentrosaurus.
Eric3003, the models are good, though with Microraptor the texture is mostly dark colours, so it is a bit hard to see the details. Keep in mind that the Velociraptor already in the mod follows the Jurassic Park style already, so Deinonychus would be essentially the same size and form, so logically the only way to differentiate is to add feathers to Deinonychus (well also make the legs shorter). This will be a community fuelled content pack so you can make more models if you want.
AFreakingLemon, Parasaurolophus is awesome, though I don't even know when we would start this content pack. As I said in the first post ideas are welcome, though don't just restrict yourself to the palaeontology side of the mod, feel free to post archeology related ideas as well.
Ldr_chicken88, I was just testing you and you seem legitable, though don't really agree with Ornithomimids eating fish, they don't have the appropriate dentition or digits as far as I know, though terrestrial invertebrates seem appropriate. So another test is in order! (a relatively simple one) You see my avatar, a Dilophosaurus skull reconstruction, tell me, why is it inaccurate?
It's actually quite accurate you even have the notch in its upper jaw perhaps it's the row of teeth on the bottom jaw distends to far back well I'm sorry but I don't see anything wrong or maybe it's so obvious and I've been staring at that small jagged picture for so long I've gone crazy.
I'm sure there's a dilophasaurus in Jurassic park I used to love to watch it spray poisin in the guys eyes when I was young.
Just don't take me for a Dino guru
Oh the end of the crest does not end that abruptly and is slightly more rounded also I'm not sure if its just the design but you don't have the point at the end of the crest

The skull itself is based on a random Dilophosaurus skull I found on the Internet once (Dilophosaurus crests have a fair amount of variation), it is fairly accurate. The mistake is one that is very easy to make, as I based my reconstruction on Wikipedia reconstructions of theropod skulls (I only found out about this recently), the inaccuracy is that you can see the skull detail precisely, essentially putting a layer of skin on bones, it's simply a way for people to show that they know what the fossil looks like, so that they will not get accused of their works being inaccurate by someone who knows what the fossil looks like. In short my reconstruction has practically no muscles or real flesh at all.
