Hey. I have a problem. The eggs don't appear when I "solve" the puzzles in the temples. I hear the lightning, but no egg appears. It happens with every temple. I'm on Survival Mode. What's wrong?
That was a bug in a previous version, are you using 0.5.3?
This seems to have an incompatibility. I'm not sure if you could fix it but if you could, could you please look at it. The other mod is Mine and Blade: Battlegear 2

Okay so I restarted the game and it was fine. But just for the future I'd still love it was looked into
So in the next "dragon update," will there be personality like it says in the update schedule plan? If so, how will it work?
I think it would be cool to somehow talk to them. And vice versa. Now I don't remember how it worked in the books but wasn't Saphira able to talk to other people? That would be a cool feature where another player could walk up to your dragon and right click it or something and your dragon would talk back

Saphira could talk to people other than Eragon, however, since she speaks through telepathy, it's rude to do so without permission. Also, it's a high honor to have a dragon other than your own speak with you.

Well, then the player should set permissions on who your dragon talks to. Say like a whitelist or op, in-game of course. Now THAT would be pretty cool!

Eh, Mine and Blade: Battlegear 2 changes the way the game works, making it very difficult be compatible with. I will some time look into the problem because it is such a popular mod. however i really wont be fixing compatibility issues with lesser know game engine changing mods. has anyone noticed this bug without Battlegear 2.

Maybe there could be a quest to gain the dragon's trust?

Do you intend to, with the additions of elves and such in the "Civilization Update," make some of the elves be other riders? And are you going to add dwarvish/elvish armor and weapons that those races might be using?
:/ so I tried to run this mod with jammy's furniture mod and it crashed the launcher. is this mod incompatible with it?
Um please understand that all crashes will be ignored unless you include the crash report with with it. I can not answer any questions because i have no way of knowing what happened.

I haven't seen anything like that.
I don't know... a quest? Sounds like a lot just to have a dragon talk to you. Maybe if it's a female one xD jk. Maybe if you never attacked the Rider or Dragon for a certain amount of time and so forth, then you gain their trust and may speak to them.

Alright thanks! Just wanted to know if you could check into it. If there's no way of fixing it, then that's fine. I don't mind restarting the game. This was actually the first time this happened.
Whenever I try the editing Dragon name file i crash... could there be a command for creative only to name it?
Not allowed to do that! First off, the file that has all the names is a class file, recommended that you DO NOT open it and DO NOT edit it. That's what caused your game crash. And no, it's not possible. You'll have to keep killing your dragon and getting a new one to get a dragon with a different name. I wish they took some names out but, I wouldn't want them to get extra work at moment

Yeah I don't either. Possibly that the 1.0 update or .9 update could add this.
Here's an interesting idea for the names. There can be a command that allows you to offer a name to your dragon. This command can only be used on dragons at the teenage lifestage or older. The command can be called /shurtugal name [name here]. Then a message will pop up on your chat bar that says "Your dragon liked the name you suggested and has chosen it." or "Your dragon does not like that name and has rejected it." It can be a %50 random chance that your dragon will like the name or not. You can suggest the name again and it will still be a %50 chance, or whatever percent there can be. Once the dragon has chosen a name it can't be changed. I think that this idea will suit this mod because it's like how Eragon listed names to Saphira.

That wasn't 50% and she knew the name before hand so no, dragons pick their own names.

She didn't know her name beforehand. In the chapter "A Name of Power", The chapter after Eragon visits Brom and learns several names from him, Eragon recites the list of names and she chooses Saphira. I will read from the book:
Eragon, page 56-57:
"You need a name. I heard some interesting ones today; perhaps you'll like one" He mentally ran through the list Brom had given him until he found two names that struck him as heroic, noble, and pleasing to the ear. "What do you think of Vanilor or his successor, Eridor? Both were great dragons." No, said the dragon. It sounded amused with his efforts. Eragon.
"That's my name; you can't have it," he said, rubbing his chin. "Well if you don't like those, there are others." He continued through the list, but the dragon rejected every one he proposed. It seemed to be laughing at something Eragon did not understand, but he ignored it and kept suggesting names. "There was Ingothold, he slew the..." A revelation stopped him. "That's the problem! I've been choosing male names. You are a she!" Yes. The dragon folded her wings smugly.
Now that he knew what to look for, he came up with half a dozen names. He toyed with Miremel, but that d id not fit-after all, it was the name of a brown dragon. Opheila and Lenora were also discarded. He was ab out to give up w hen he remembered the last name Brom had muttered. Eragon liked it, but would the dragon?
He asked. "Are you Saphira?" She looked at him with Intelligent eyes. Deep in his mind he felt her satisfaction. Yes. Something clicked in his head and her voice echoed, as if from a great distance. He grinned in response. Saphira started humming.
Christopher Paolini also answered a question that a fan asked him about the dragon's names and he said that dragons would normally choose their own names once they were old enough to understand the concept and that it wasn't unheard of for a dragon to change its name later on.
That chapter was what gave me the idea. It would make the mod seem more cannon to the story. It was just a thought. It just seems nice to be able to interact with your dragon in such a way.
