Hey Guys! sorry i was gone for a week, just needed a break im back, and ready to work now that i think every ones out of school! im excited to finally get working full time on this mod :)OMG!!! just went back to read messages i missed... O.O...i didnt mean to scare all of you guys so bad ^^;;; now i feel bad, i was just kinda taking a break so i didnt get burned out and stop permanently and all the truth is i ran out of my pain killers, and it was a week before my jerk of a doctor would give me more, cuz he thought my family was stealing my pills cuz my mom ordered my prescription for me ><;;; i hate stupid doctors. but i was hurting to bad to do much other than play borderlands 2, and think up ideas on the mod, im sorry guys, i should have posted something, i kinda procrastinated a bit whenever i went to post something ^^;;... anyhow, im sooooo sorry i worried you guys, im all good, and i cant wait to kick MythiCraft into gear!!!!

well, ive got a Skype, are coders have worked for the past three days straight, weve got the level up system for mobs almost finished, weve set mob stats and healthbars, and made the health numbers instead of hearts were getting ALOT done REALLY fast if you want to join, ill need some show of skill, and your skype so we can message each other quickly and effectively. i hope we can work togeather, ive spent almost 3 years dedicated to this project, its become everything i wake up in the morning for, ive got nothing left, no school, no job, just me wanting to make this mod.
EDIT: To everyone else, i literally didnt know i would be gone, it just happened, i just left one day, and procrastinated on coming back due to the pain of typing without my pain meds ill do my best next time to tell you guys

Do you plan to add anything from other fantasy-based stories? (lord of the rings, Harry Potter, maybe some Greek Mythology.) It would be cool to see a troll from lotr integrated into your mod.
Hey Neon. Will we be seeing other dimensions? If not, may I suggest it? I had the idea of creating a rare spawn, a kind of nexus. It would be a GIGANTIC tree, something about 40x40, and high as the sky limit, or close to it. The inside of the tree would have a spiral staircase around the edge, and a giant statue of some kind of minor god or goddess of the Realms. The spiral stair case would have many portal frames made out of many uniuqe, varying, strange materials on the side of the staircase thats touching the tree. Every once in a while, there will be a working portal. But there are monster spawners hidden everywhere that spawn special monsters, similar to ender-men, who look like trees, and instead of nether particles, have leaf particles. They spawn blocks of wood in front of them, which then appear and dissappear to have been launched. These will suffocate the player when getting hit by them, and deal damage. They stop upon hitting a solid block, void, or the maximum block height. Can't wait to try the mod, and tell me what you think!
oh, and they teleport like endermen, but much less frequently. They aren't damaged by water, they don't teleport away from the player in day light are the reasons.
once again, ive already covered this i think, there are going to be a total of 7 new demensions the player can go to, and each one is very important ot the main quest line, there are 1 new demension for each element, the nethers already there, so its going ot be fire, and normal minecraftia is the earth one, in each you must do quests for the species of NPC's that live there in there own cities, like in the nether there will be a species of Devil people, who are goverend by Arch Demons, each race for each realm is different, some notl ikeing outsides, while others very welcoming, you must do quests for them gain there trust, then get the final quest for the realm that sends you on a quest to get that realms orb of power, as you need all 8 to stop an approaching cataclysm. im trying not ot reveak too much, and btw, each orb of power is guarded by a special boss or hard challenge/puzzle, like the realm of darkness has a massive endless maze, and you can only see one block infront of you, and you must get to the end of the endless maze (puzzle) to get the orb of darkness, and so on, as you get more orbs it allows you to unlock portals to other realms where you go to fight and get the orb from there....

Coo! As long as the game/story line is still very flexible, I'm fine with it.
like skyrim flexible? where you dont have to do quests right when you get them type thing? because thats what were planning on doing, only a few quests will be timed, or have a limit on how many days can pass and so on...the point of the mod is so players who want to just settle down, buy a house, get married and have little jr. steve's can, they can own a farm or a shop, sell there goods at a market, and just live a virtual life, but those who want to become wizards or warriors, fighting dragons off from destroying settlements and kill monsters of myth and legend while all the while gathering powerful artifacts and abilities, then they can do that too, i want this mod to be fully open to just about anyone

GUYS!!! as you can tell there is now a NEW POLL! it is a very important poll, and i wouldl ove it if you all answered it please! it will decide the game for EVERYONE! so please take the time, read it, decide your favorite, or come up with your own idea, any way, VOTE! and tell me what you think! and guys, just for being freaking awesome, ill give you guys a screenshot or two of all the amazazing work Askaholic and my other coders are doing! and guys, give props to Askaholic, hes doing a lot of work, and the mods doing better than its ever done, and please give props to my other coder Gristly!!! that guy can code mobs like no other, and hes taking on the daunting task of making the new Item system, where all weapons, armors, and items like rings and amulets will have set stats like Damage, Range, Attack Speed,, and more, each stat will be randomized much like the game Borderlands, and Borderlands 2! when a new item is dropped or found in a previously unopened chest, it will first read your level, or the level of the mod that dropped it, and generate its stats depending on the higher of the two levels. this way no player will ever have the same Items! there will also be Legendary items as well, like one of my favorites, the "Dragon Fire Bow" a bow that, on impact with anything, causes dozens of flaming arrows to fall from the clouds and pelt the area around the original arrow with a rain of fire! all Legendary weapons have very very low chances of being found, and should be coveted by all players, they will mostly drop at higher levels, and from very powerful monsters, even then its still a very rare chance. Each Legendary weapon is extremely powerful, each one hand crafted by the gods blacksmith, an ancient Cyclops that lives at the top of a mountain above the clouds. ANYHOW! the part you've been waiting for! the screenshots!
THIS IS THE NEW INVENTORY MENU! showing you how you can equip weapon (look near the hotbar and see the difference from picture to picture ), and how the crafting grid still works like normal!!!
THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE CHARACTER MENU!!! its showing you how it will be set up, and that you can already allocate your points into your stats! on this page it will display your characters basic information, i know it isn't flashy, ill be changing that soon, but it works, the green 0 will actually display your total experience points to the number you need to level up.
AND HERE IS THE NEW HEALTH BAR! it will display your Health, Armor, and Mana / Stamina right in view for you to monitor your vitals! here is it with the new hot bar slot, just for your equipped weapon, whatever you equip inside your inventory into the two slots will appear there, and you can hit a button you choose in the options menu to instantly jump to it and equip your weapons / shields! In hardcore modes that golden healthbar will become black, and the purple gem will become a skull, letting you know, if you die, its over. And, if you level up a green/white flashing outline will appear around the healthbar letting you know its time to level up and spend your stat points!

and i found it more often although i have no idea what it is
i dont know whats going on, it was glticheing and wouldn't even let me make the poll until i deleted all the other ones, even though it said i had room for the new one, then it wouldn't let me vote either, its just weird. if you guys want to choose, just post it i guess. :\

I would prefer the Standard RPG Video game method, each Stat starts with 5, + / - your racial bonuses, and then you get 10~15 points to allocate as you choose into your stats...

YES EVERYONE! ASKAHOLIC IS BACK! hes been working with the team for the past 4~5 days straight, hence the amount of screenshots i posted last time. we have been getting so much done its ridiculous! but everyone, hes going on vacation to another country in a few days, for 3 weeks....so its going to slow down a bit until hes back, but were trying to get enough done before he goes to set up a base off code to work from. we have done soooo much, a video should be coming soon of in game content so stay tuned!

ok, no offense, but guys, just think of the magnitude of what we are putting together. guys, this mod is basically like building a new Game from scratch, with how much we are adding, we basically are going to have to change everything that minecraft has, and some. please i beg you to be patient, we are working as fast and to the best of our ability as we can. i know its been a long time, and you have all been waiting for like 3 years, but asking when the updates coming, it just wont make it come any faster, most of the time we dont have any set dates on thing, when we can work, we work, when we can't, then we can't. now i'm trying to put together a video and some screenshots to keep you guys content. if i have news on a date of any kind, i will post it! so please, stop asking, i understand a lot of the people who ask are new to the thread, but guys, if you read the first post, it does say we ARE working on the mod. we will release, its just a matter of when
