xDgah...its just doing the URL to the picture...not the actual picture... @.@did it ..... dis mod............avii...if you read dis....please add appaloosas(wikipedia will tell you more...yes ik you will read this eventually... xD)
I forget who made the sigs but could you put simply horses in the middle of the picture with all the horses? I like this picture better and would like for people to see the title and not wonder what the sig is of
I think a good update for this mod would me skeleton jockeys (riding a horse), for example like Ghost Rider, maybe make the horse all fiery! That would be very awesome.
I am very slowly closing in on 'fixing' the spawn bug. I still don't know why it occurred, but it has led me to experiment with just how frequently I'd like herds to spawn in the first place. Right now, I can almost guarantee that at least one herd will spawn per plains, but given the size of plains I find that a bit unfair, even by my standards. Right now, it's essentially finding a needle in a haystack.
I'm going to keep fiddling with it and see if I can get that spawn rate higher without flooding the plains (which has been harder than it should be).
Once I fix that, I'll upload and release Alpha 0.2.1 as just a bug fix.

Well.......thats soemthing to look forward to..but i think the problem is that the horses arent classified...(maybe,dunno,just a theory)so minecraft might be thinking theyre hostile(as stallions are, then mares follow them)and hostiles spawn mostly on sand,so they might be spawning in deserts more because of that....(JUST A THEORY)
And Zui, hostile mobs only spawn in dark areas, not specifically on any particular block. And the classification is more-or-less Animals vs Monsters. The Horses are classified under Animals regardless of their hostility (just like wolves).
... I think.. I need.. A more comprehensive guide ^^;;. *Goes to rewrite*
If it would help I could possibly make a small video showing the process, since some people are better visual learners than readers. Possibly could, don't know.

No Grass behind the Name
Con_number_1, Thanks! I like them too :3....
Ziu, Actually I will eventually try and add support for the randomobs mod, at which point you'll get your Appaloosa- and Paint-inspired mustangs
Tobias, if I ever did a Complexly Horses fantasy/legendary add-on, I was going to include something like what you're suggesting |D.
Thanks, already have it on
