Hi i got the mod but i cant do things like tame a digimon please help
first get a digivice then right click and hold. i should warn you start with a rookie you can tame a champion and higher but not advised unless you have lots of armor and hp because most of them will kill you if you try.

Im onna need some here. I deleted META.INF and put modloader and digimon in my jar and loaded up the game but all that came up was a black screen. If anyone can help like tell me which version of modloader I need or something like that. thanks
I have an idea for the DigiXros evolutions, well you know that a digixros is like a fusion, why don´t you treat it like omnimon´s? something like this: select some digimon with a Xros Loader fuse them and put them a time limit, after that time they will de fuse, for example
Shotumon+Ballistamon= Shoutmon X2 time limit: 05 mins, after that they will defuse into Shoutmon and Ballistamon
and if the Digixrossed digimon dies, it wil defuse but the resulting digimon will have 25% of hp or return to digitamas, I really don´t know about coding but it doesn´t sound so complicated, it souns like a mix of armor evolution and fusion, well it sounds a bit complicated, but it´s a beggining

i know this thread is really really old (*cough, cough*, it even has many dust on it, like an old book from the library) but i still find that this was a great mod. i know there is a mod called digimobs for 1.6.4 there. but since NaruArth has cancelled the project i guess, i have planned to bring this mod to the next level(or next version). i have plans to release this mod for 1.7.2 and i already started the project. some of you who already played it, know the digiarmorblock? this one i got integrated in minecraftforge 1.7.2
therefore i'm searching members and supporters for this mod. i would like to know if any of you would like to work together with me.
and this one@digimobs-user goes out to you all: i dont know what NaruArth would have wanted, but i'm sure that it wouldnt be bad if we continue his work. maybe we can merge a few features and advance digimobs with the good things from digital monsters.
what do you think guys, which way would be the best? personally, i would like to make this mod compatible with 1.7.2. and once that is done, we can talk about melting the mods together with digimobs or not, or whatever. ^^

I feel somewhat obligated to reply to this for various reasons. Since you mention digimobs a couple of times, I'm sure you already know who I am. What you may not know, is that before NaruArth set sail for broader horizons, we worked together a lot on each other's mods, and that he left me the source code for Digital Monsters. Now I'm not sure what you have used to extract the src by other means, but I'm fairly sure it probably wasn't by well-accepted means. But that's not the point I'm trying to make. This mod uses modloader, and is for 1.2.5. As of 1.7, Forge doesn't actually use modloader. So, you are looking at essientially building this mod up from scratch.
I can assure you for a fact that:
-All the GUIs of Digital Monsters are no where near compatible with 1.7
-Neither is a large portion of the AI code.
-The entities are registered differently now, so they would need to be reregistered
-The model files are probably still in good shape, but you do not have the techne files to fix them should they not be. In which case, you are looking at editing them through the java code itself, and that's not an easy task I assure you.
And perhaps the most important thing is, that, I'm pretty sure "continuing" his mod without his permission is sort of taboo.
You also mentioned wanting to merge with Digimobs at some point. Seeing as how merging mods together is usually a bad idea(don't use the same coding styles, lots of code incompatible, different standards, etc), I'm going to say that is probably not necessarily an ideal choice.
However, I am always looking for dedicated people to come work with me on Digimobs. I've had dozens of people apply wanting to help, only to never actually do anything at all. So now, I always offer people a "trial run" of sorts to see if they are really dedicated to the cause. You seem fairly dedicated seeing as you want to resurrect a really old mod that really needs to be rebuilt from the ground up at this point. So should you decide you would rather join a small team of people and use your ideas to help influence the current Digimon mod, feel free to send me a PM or leave something at our forums.
