Blame youtube for no daily report yesterday. IT was supposed to be 2 categories for Wild Card Day, however youtube is refusing to process videos. I hope it works by monday but you only get one then
First post in ages! Hey all, I have seen that the forums picked up pace a bit again. Perhaps people are acclimating to the curse changes, or perhaps the new OP has people jazzed up. Who knows. So here is a summary of what I have been doing in the last two months.
Hopefully you guys watched the mojam a few weeks back, it was where Mojang had 60 hours to create a new game from scratch (along with oxeye and wolfire, ech making a game). The theme was steampunk rpg, or something like that. They came up with catacomb snatch, a top down shooter containing many bugs and glitches. Mojang then released the source and encouraged the community to get involved and make something even more amazing then what they did. Maescool was a dude who did sparked the fire which drove one of the community teams. You can find the work here, https://github.com/Maescool/Catacomb-Snatch . That is where I disappeared to for about a month, rewriting the multiplayer code (talk to me somewhere else if you want a more in depth explanation).
The other place has been real life. Seems like spring time has brought about a lot of school work and a lot of hanging out with friends. The sun has decided to show itself very early this year indeed. As it stands, i just made it to my computer at 14 on sunday for the first time in the last three days, and the next two weekends are already looking full.
Oh! I have also been helping iKing update and re-write some plugins for the relaunch of his Hogwarts Role Play server. That has been interesting, learning the ins and outs of bukkit a bit more.
AND there will need to be more studying soon, for the upcoming AP (4 of them) and SAT tests. Nothing better than testing. I have done a bit of work in the way of updating the DW code to the 1.2.3/forge/modloader/mcp code, however there are still about 150 compile time errors (down from the initial 700ish). My goal is to get it updated, fix the problems caused by the new code, and then try to do some more tying together of features so that we can get a release out sometime this year (lol). It is very good to see that people haven't lost interest in the mod yet. I certainly haven't, especially after watching S6 on netflix (except for the last two episodes, yet).

Great! Well the first thing we nee done is a base for the Stargate Chevron 7 Client Mod and to get all the completed models we have for it in game. Nothing fancy regarding features just getting them in. So far we have the Milky Way Galaxy Stargate, the Pegasus Galaxy Stargate, the Milky way DHD (dial home device and the Pegasus DHD. As well as the Replicators, MALP, and the beginnings of the Asgard.
