the only mob that does anything about long range ki attack right now is nappa, and he is very...buggy at the moment, he acts very, odd, I won't do any new ki based things till the energy and skill mod is released, so for about a week I'll just fix current bugs
There is an energy mod. It's called Energy for Modders, don't remember who made it. Anyway, something I think everybody who likes DBZ wants: Scouter! It would be a helmet-slot, that acts sort of like SDK's nightvision goggles- you toggle it with a key, and it turns your vision green. But instead of lighting up mobs, it lights up hidden text that says Power Level: XX (XX being whatever the power level is). If this ever went SMP ( Dyncraft O.o) you could work it in with your skills portion, i.e. as your skills increase your power level increases. Now for a reference:

Zombie- "IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!" ...

This will be modloader compatible when v0.1 for 1.6 comees out, or I might skip to v0.2, it might be a week or so because of the update, but the modloader version is on the way

the scouter idea sounds great, maybe some attacks too, with sounds.

Yeh the only way fusion would work is if it edited your skin (so with all the customs skins impossible unless you just edit the defalt skin) and even then it would be more like absorbing somone.
yea, and I have a better use for dragon balls in mind, I think leveling up should invlode dragon balls, and not just limited to saiyins, also nemekians, humans, and playing as buu is being considered, having you level up though his different forms, these are just part of the idea I had last night on a level up system, I'll explain more of it later
They saiyin level up path is the longest, you need to start by wishing to become a saiyin, then kio-ken 2, 3, 4, 5, kio-ken 10, kio-ken 20(each one increases ki energy and attack power), and then you get to the super saiyin path(new attacks as well as old saiyin attacks), which is not as long, this makes sure that becoming super saiyin is not easy, the next longest level up path is Buu but he is still being debated.(after wishing to be a new class you can change to it as long as you still have the skill). This is a long term plan, the infrustructure for this is being coded now but functional levels will probably be in a later version during july or august(levels might be added in v0.2 or v0.3 but functional classes will take longer)

That all sounds really cool can you make it use the gui mod just so it is easy to change the settings like Mo' creatures
I can try, but I'm starting to like the idea of player classes being skills and attacks being items(at least for the first version it is released in), that would make upgrading simpler to understand but harder to do, I had an Idea about a Buu attack that is a extendable arm that can shoot out and grab on to people to either push or pull them, It would probably need to be an attack for a high level buu like super buu or kid buu. Also I noticed that I never credited the owners of the dragon ball copyright, so to prevent being sued I'm going to try and sort that out.
I had a suggestion, maybe add a dragon radar, or some kind of device that would help find the dragonballs. I don't imagine this would be easy, but I'll be following this mod for as long as it'll take.

I added dragon balls, the ability to make wishes with dragon balls, rage dirt(not from dbz, it's just my signature block), 1 new furnace fuel, 7 new crafting recipes, and a lot of stuff to come(read my earlier post about player classes and attacks)
