The actual program Eclipse? Or... what are you talking about?
To install MCP and ModLoader, first install ModLoader [http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v151-risugamis-mods-updated/].
Then open up your Finder (I'm assuming you are on a Mac since you are talking about .sh files instead of .bat files) and go under Library>Application Support>minecraft and copy your "bin" and "resources" files. Copy them into the "jar" folder in your mcp(744 I think) folder. After that, open up Terminal and type in "cd" and drag your MCP Folder into the Terminal window. Then you type in "bash" and drag(or type in) decompile.sh into the window. After that, just wait! (: Your files should be all decompiled and ready to mod! Next open up your Eclipse and set up your workspace in MCP/Eclipse. and you should be good to go.
Sorry if this wasn't what you were looking for. haha

Okay... Hmm. Did you add the name in the public void load() spot?
.setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabMaterials);

Yes. I do this:
public static final Item Blob = new Item(1000).setItemName("Blob").setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabMaterials);
(And im new to coding)
in your @Init method and always start variable names with a small letter.
EDIT: Are you codding in MC 1.5.1 ?
When yes, the setName method isn't there anymore, you have to change it to:
then it works fine, when you add:
Then the ingame name is correct too.
You don't have to register Items for singleplayer.
Were would i add that Im new to coding
Thx Ill try ill Pm u if it doesnt work

yea but it doesnt allow me to have public void load()
It has to be
public void load1( )
For it to work
What?... That is very odd. Can you post your entire code up? Put it into

Refer to this http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1722368-15-icons-and-block-textures/
Also, make sure you put the texture for your item in the texture/item folder in the minecraft.jar
Im new to coding and dont really understand that.. Soooooooooo could sombody put that in there own words in a easier way for me
Blob.iconIndex = ModLoader.addOverride("/gui/items.png", "/TheLimitMod/Blob.png");
With
public void updateIcons(IconRegister iconRegister)
{
iconIndex = iconRegister.registerIcon("Blob");
}
And don't forget, make sure you put the texture for your item in the texture/item folder in the minecraft.jar
