So yeah, Is there a modding tool for creating structures? Similar to Techne, where you can model your building out and the program will generate the specific code for you? I've searched a bit and found nothing.
Anyone know? Or can anyone point me to a turorial on how to easily code generated buildings? (Besides just setting an integer for Block.whatever)

It's not that hard to roll out one of your own. Here's a simple way:
Create a marker block with class variables for storing coordinates.
If you place the block and the coordinates are not set then set the coordinates. If you place the block and the coordinates are already set, then iterate over all the blocks in the rectangle bound by those two blocks and write the data to a file (in whatever format you require). Finally, erase the coordinates in the class variables and delete the two blocks. Rinse and repeat.

Support the Allocator! Find my inventions such as my pressure plate removal detector on the About Me page of my profile.
I'm still looking for more feedback on my configurable Redstone Gate mod. All gates and common circuits (such as e.g. clocks, edge detectors, latches and Flip-Flops) in a single block.

The links are broken.
And shame on me for posting on an old thread. Might as well give me a warning.
