Hello friends. I would like to reach out to some more advanced mod creators to request a mod based off the
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Game mode Extinction. If you feel up to the challenge but do not know what it is, YouTube would be a great source. As well as IGN, which should have a guide
A short run through of the game mode:
You are tasked with using a laser drill to destroy hives (look up a picture of them on Google) to clear the way towards a nuclear bomb to detonate. Once you destroy a certain number of hives you will reach a Barrier hive, which requires heavier firepower to destroy. You start off with a pistol, four special items (list below) and a class, you find more guns such as Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Light Machine Guns and Sub Machine Guns throughout the map. As well as search piles, which offer attachments, money, semtex grenades and more. Once you reach the nuclear bomb, you activate a timer to start detonation. Then you run back to the beginning to reach extraction. The creatures you fight are aliens, and when you reach a Barrier hive. Out come the scorpions. Your objectives are to reach the nuke and escape, while defending the drill. Aliens only come out while the drill is attacking a hive. (Note: the maps are linear to some extent)
I would recommend looking up pictures of the aliens as I cannot explain them fully, as well as a guide to the mode so you can get a more in depth explanation. (sorry for not having so much information)
Things I would like to see in the mod:
The ability to create custom maps (place the hives where you want, place the guns where you want, make custom prices. So on.)
Custom classes, like in the real game mode.
Custom search pile rewards.
List of perks to start out with:
Weapon Specialist Class: deals more damage with bullets.
Tank Class: Health is doubled
Engineer Class: More drill health.
Medic Class: You and your allies are given a slow regeneration effect.
Weapons:
Semi automatic pistol.
Revolver.
Three round burst pistol.
Fully automatic pistol.
Perks:
(you can have one of each class)
Ammo:
Normal Ammo: Fully refills weapons.
Explosive Ammo: Fills your gun 70% of the way with 70% explosive bullets
Incendiary Ammo: Fills your gun 70% of the way with incendiary bullets (lights them on fire)
Stun Ammo: Fills your gun 70% of the way with 70% stun ammo
Armor Piercing Ammo: Fills your gun 70% of the way with 70% ammo that does more damage.
Team Perk:
Explosives: Gives four landmines.
Feral Instincts: Allows you to move faster.
Armor: Gives diamond armor (wow something from vanilla minecraft omigosh)
Swiftness: Makes all actions faster (this can be excluded)
Finally, a list of search pile results.
Random amounts of money, which is used to buy stuff like weapons and the last three options listed above. Ranges from $50-$250
Grenades
Landmines
Ammo (all types)
Flares (used to distract the Aliens)
Hypno Knife (used to turn one alien friendly)
Trophy (used to deflect scorpion projectiles)
Attachments for your gun (can be excluded)

You can also look up the game mode in full detail, then build off of that. Your choice.
This should be a plugin for Bukkit, in my opinion. The textures can be a custom texture pack, and in Bukkit, a modder (if I remember correcly) is able to make a normal item, like, for example, an egg, have different properties, like a grenade.
you got the time in which the aliens come out they don't come out when the drill is drilling they come out when ever you are near a hive weather it is destroyed or not plus there are already destroyed hives when you start and once bayou pass the barrier hives in each area there are 6 hives (not including the barrier hive)
