to be honest changing the color of a few pixels of steve's hand came to my mind, but not thinking most people would recognize it as such and not really sure being able to overlay onto a player's skin would be a trivial enough task to justify it.
but yeah, i do agree, it would be cool and should be interesting to hear any ideas azanor might have on it.

He can at least do the Necklace and the Belt. And I'd be ok with just that. But I did think of something else, he could change the rings to Bracelets and he could easily render them on the wrist of the player. Either that or add them. Oh that reminds me, I should show this mod to My friend who make an epic mod that I have the banner for in my sig.

Good point! Well, lets hope Lord Azanor takes this into consideration. Actually, he could just add Bracelets, the rings can stay. I think he could just add a thing to the hand that is shaped like a button that's 2 pixels big to represent the rings. Or something kind of like that, but that idea would work for simple rings, like the miner's ring. The question is how would you render the fancier rings with a stone in it like the Runic Shielding Rings in the current Thaumcraft.
No, i didn't place them in there it happens randomly when i play in my world i dunno why
A long time ago I had a problem with random objects from my inventory occasionally going into my armor slots and overwriting my equipped armor. To this day I have no idea what was causing that, but my point is that I don't know if the problem you're having now is necessarily a fault with baubles.

This seems really cool and useful; haven't checked out the actual api yet but I am assuming it will be pretty friendly to use
My only concern is that we may be seeing a boatload of "fall-damage negation" rings and such from a dozen different small mods
Hey Azanor, one of my fans asked me if my mod is compatible with this, which obviously isn't. So I was wondering if I can just take the code and implement it into mine, instead of having to wait for you to update it (I pretty much hate apis)
And end up still being incompatible with it? Not sure what you mean by having to wait for an update - the API is done and won't be changing anytime soon.

you can just update it manually, i think baubles needs a horse GUI when riding one
I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about it, but would it be possible to make it so pressing the baubles inventory key can close GUIs? When I exit a crafting table, chest, ect, I'm used to pressing the inventory key to close it. I'd like to use the baubles inventory over the vanilla one however it's currently inconvenient for me to do so.

I just had this in my dev environment. I think you have a duplicate mod somewhere, if you look in the log it should tell you which.
