I want to say how much I'm really enjoying your mod!
I finally got the advanced ore extractinator and it is a BEAST!
I am curious though, is the next update going to feature some form of automation, and some sort of gui when clicking on the AOE with an empty hand to show the chances of output for all the blocks it can extract from?
I might suggest a bit more detailed description as well. I personally NEVER watch videos, and think the screenshot rule is stupid for many mods. But a decent short and then long description are ALWAYS necessary. Not everyone has the required internet to load screenshots for every page all the time.
Your short one is fine, "this is a mod about transformation unnecessary recources [sic] to more necessary"
Do Extractinators require power such as Buildcraft's Minecraft Joules, IC2's Energy Units, Universal Electricity Joules, or Redstone Flux? Can you MAKE them require power via a config option? Do they use another fuel source like coal, or something else?
What precisely do you PUT in an extractionator?
Are the various extractinators limited to certain items?
Do you use cobblestone for all of them?
Only Cobble/Gravel/Netherrack/End Stone, or can I put other things into them like ores, dirt, wood, or obsidian?
How does one add items to the extractinators for processing? Via right click?
Can items be pumped in with automated item transport?
What rough benefit does an advanced extractinator give? Better capacity? Faster operation? Wider range of things to extractionate? Ability to automate? Joining together of all 4 types of extractinator?
Does this mod add ANY world generation or dungeon loot?
Does it use the ore dictionary for tungsten? Is the only place to get tungsten with your mod by using an Ender Ore Extractinator?
Also, you might want to sort the drop chance lists more fully by drop chance instead of the hybrid method you're currently using.

Personal preference, does not excuse you from the fact that information does exist in a greater amount than the screenshots and text.
so if a video is available, it might be worth looking at if information is scarce.
Information is information, only personal preference dictates how it is presented and consumed.

Currently, no power system is required to get up and going with any of the extractinators.
Personal opinion now: could he require some sort of energy to operate? sure, but not my call and i like the independence of it from some sort of power system.

Each primary extractinator (cobble, gravel, netherrack, endstone) is limited to accepting ONLY their specific materials that are referenced by their name.
How does one add items to the extractinators for processing? Via right click?
Can items be pumped in with automated item transport?
Hold a stack of an item in your hand that is compatible with the particular extractinator that you are looking at...
Then hold right click...
???
PROFIT!!!
Automation with pipes directly? Unfortunately not right now.
BUT! and I do mean BUT!!!
I have found a way to automate, without having to be AFK.
Thermal Expansion has a machine that is called the Autonomous Activator...
It can have materials piped in and it will right click objects in the world without needing the player.
at that point you only need an item collecting device to pick up whatever the extractinator produces.
Is TOTAL automation possible?
YES!!!
with pipes?
no.

The AOE(Advanced Ore Extractinator) has these attributes.
-- All in one Cobblestone/Gravel/Netherrack/Endstone Extractinator.
-- does not require a multiblock casing (craft it, and then go crazy with it)
-- Accepts sandstone to produce sand (ratio seems to be 3 sand for every sandstone)
-- doubles the output of vanilla ores (iron and gold, haven't tested other types yet)

You are forgetting two very important points.
One: Time/Efficiency. Like every other form of media, if you cause someone to lose interest in the first minute or so, you've probably lost them forever. Videos tend to waste large blocks of time and most video creators aren't adept at presenting information concisely, or in useful order. Text is fully searchable, and when formatted even remotely properly can let YOU decide what you want to know, find it quickly, learn, and move on.
Two: Watching the videos simply isn't an option for everyone. Some people have connections that either have ridiculously low bandwidth (I know a few people that can ONLY get dial-up at their house), or a bandwidth cap (say the data plan on their phone).
If you don't care who sees your work, or consumes your work, or about growing your audience? Sure, then these things are irrelevant. But there's a reason that all the big mods used to have massive posts until the mod-specific wikis caught on.Note, that last paragraph wasn't directed at Abcdmult. I know that it is being worked on, and my first post was meant to give ideas on what should probably be improved.
I will not update mod for 1.7.x versions. ill wait for 1.8 and release this project update at the same time with pretty new project(it will be surprise)
It's a really cool idea, but there are some things i would change, if it was my mod. Namely the ender-wing-thing. Cool item but very OP once you got it. Also i suggest making it a craftable item rather than making it drop from yellow cheeselike stone. Instead of directly dropping the dragon egg maybe drop dragon egg shell shards(surround an enderpearl with 8 of that = ender dragon egg). and the netherstar...i dont know...can be OP at times but its your decision i guess. also i really like how you used the good old 'useless' tungsten dont forget to oredic it(you should know that: main mod class: init method: OreDictionary.addOre("ingotTungsten", TungstenIngotsUnlocalizedName);)
i released Extractination II month ago(1.7.10). but if you using 1.6.4 version of the mod(1.5.3.2 the last), you will have oredict name and usage of tungsten, if i understeand you right(sorry, English is'nt my native language )

Curiosity aside, you rock! Keep it up!
I'm using the latest for mc1.6.4.

WorldGen?
None*
Ore Dictionary for Tungsten?
Yes!
*If you have Nether Ores Mod, you can have naturally generating tungsten in the nether to get the AOE sooner.
I agree, better documentation of what can be extractinated and the results would be nice to have.
Side Idea, A lava extractinator, (if a power system becomes a requirement, this one merely uses lava as both fuel and feedstock).

oh, dude. i know how to use oredictionary and i'm using it in my mods
When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
Sorry if my spelling is bad, I'm learning english...
