Uhm, not nearly an expert, but i suppose you tried to destroy and recreate the table... dunno, prehaps someone more competent might help you with a modlist (does it also happen with just forge and tc?) and a forge log (not crashlog)
Destroy and recreate the table? Im sorry, but I dont know what that means. As for just thaumcraft on its own, yes it still does that. Also, I've noticed that now I can't even redownload forge without "The directory is missing a launcher profile. Please run the minecraft launcher first." even though it runs 100% flawlessly without thaumcraft. Before at least I could redownload it. It also seems the place it tells me to check for more information about not having forge, "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log" is empty. My forge log is here: http://pastebin.com/aFk9WTXC

It means exactly what it says. Destroy the table, then place the two Arcane Tables back down, and use Scribing Tools to turn it into the research table.

What does that have to do with my bug? I can't even play!

Apologies. It seems you responded to TPB's post asking Luther27 about whether or not he was using Thaumic Tinkerer, which led to both him and myself responding to you as though you were experiencing the problem Luther27 presented.

One thing i would love to have changed is making warded stone affect 2 blocks high,. I noticed jumping mobs can get over them, for example spiders, and it can be very annoying.

Spiders climb walls, and as such, a 2 high block would not do anything.

That's not entirely true. If the entrance where the Paving Stones of Warding are placed is only two blocks high, then it would effectively keep spiders and anything else capable of getting over the barrier out.

The Warding Stone however has an invisible, intangible barrier, not an actual block. Think Arcane Levitator, but just a straight up blocking wall rather than a lifting breeze.
Speaking of the Levitator, I still feel that there should be some variation which could push and pull mobs/items. Maybe specifically two different block types, the Arcane Repulsor and the Arcane Attractor, perhaps by using Perdito/Ordo shards, and if the two paths intersect then the shifting speed/strength is increased.

They exist in the Thaumic Tinkerer addon (which has quite a few useful additions to TC) and is afaik Azanor approved.
Hey Azanor, brilliant mod! Really enjoying it! I thought I'd drop off what I think is a bug: when putting mana beans into a hopper, the beans don't act how you'd expect. They don't seems to stack with each other on occasion (might have 2 stacks of the same type of bean, but they won't go together). Also, if you have say, two hoppers on top of each other, each pointing at a chest, the beans tend to fall to the bottom hopper, filling up the bottom chest and the bottom hopper before attempting to go to the top chest. Hope that makes sense, I can make a video of it if you'd like more detail.
I've been doing a Let's Play series on youtube as well w/ just Thaumcraft if anyone is interested.
What happens if you deconstruct a filled phial? I think it should get you a research point for the contents.
Some sort of player teleportation.
Also, I'm thinking that for 1.7, rebalancing will be tough, what with climate-limited biomes. It will be important to limit the climate's effect on water and fire availability, at least! Also, it might be worth reimplementing the Thauminomicon in the new achievements/scoreboard system.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Aw crud -- just lost all my research! Torn between trying to reconstruct it and ragequitting the world.
I do know where lots of nodes are, and I've got lots of stuff to analyze.
OK, it seems I'm not getting credit for rescanning the nodes. Balance shifting...

That seems to be a major problem, happened to at least 5 people that I can think of, including me. Your research log got reset to default, but your scan log and RP totals didn't.
One thing you can do: get a cheat sheet, read it, then use NBTExplorer to delete all the research you didn't earn. You'll have to delete them in both the player and level data. If you need help finding that data, the fifth post on page 212 (page_st_4220) describes the folder paths you need.
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!

I know, what does that have to do with anything? Spiders can still climb it as it is a solid block to THEM.

They spawn way too much for what it is, Checked the config already.

Just a question;
I can scan normal blocks (placable blocks) with the Thaumonomicon, but how do i scan items that can't be placed?

I go on a server with Thaumcraft 4. It gets popular. Azanor notices it ( or something ) turns out they didnt get perms!
5 Days later the mod gets removed and I had almost finished the entire Thauminomicon. I leave the server and find a new one.
It gets really tiring after like the 3rd time.
I've been doing a Let's Play series on youtube as well w/ just Thaumcraft if anyone is interested.

Thanks again for a great mod!

But so would a 1.5 high block.
