Is there any way to unglitch TC4 research for the Golem Accessories? I've found literally everything in the game except those and nothing I attempt to research in the table will bring anything up.

It seems that knowledge is just LOST for now. Whatever KNOWLEDGE we have of them is FRAGMENTed.
Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but I am trying to use golems to feed an infernal furnace and remove the items from a hungry chest and place them in an ender chest to bring the smelted stuff back to my workshop, and my whole setup works great...if I am standing near the golems. If I go back to my workshop, that is maybe 100 or so blocks away, they stop working, I have all the chunks loaded in the area around them, and my aura nodes I just moved are recharging all the time, the chest are receiving items and the furnace smelts when I am not close to it. but the golems just wont work unless I am there. Its really frustrating because this pretty much breaks the build I did. Is this a balance thing or something else going on?
That's a cool looking set-up. Tell me though, can an alchemical golem actually reach the upper jars? Been meaning to revamp my essentia distillation room for a while and that'd be handy to know.
ive seen some people arrange 3 rows of jars in a way, that they formed like stairs. so golems could hop onto the lower rows, to reach the upper one.

if its a vanilla enderchest, it wont work, because, the enderchest inventory is saved in your player data, not the tile entity.

Sorry about my english, my native language is spanish!
If you put 20$ in a box, I put 20$ in the box too and then I sell you the box for 30$, we both make a 10$ profit, right?

that would be a solution.
If your going to use Golems, you'd wanna do something like that, ya. Maybe put a tower of Amber blocks in the corners. I find a U-shape with 20 jars each side works great for collecting.

Greetings friends, travelers, and fellow Thaumaturges. I have a tale of travels and woe to share with you. I spent this morning on a good jaunt about my neck of the woods, which is seemingly surrounded by swamps. I figured it was time seeing as I had been spending most of my days and nights ensconced in study or underground seeking riches and resources to further my understanding. Having crafted a pair of boot to make the leagues pass by swiftly I wagered a day in the sun was needed.Off I dashed and most swiftly the earth pass beneath me. I found high peaks and obsidian shrines, which I promptly raided for any valuables and destroyed the nefarious devices beneath them. I have found them to create the undead so their destruction is most advisable. crossing desert and river I cam upon a pleasant forest of rolling hills. Much nicer than my current home I found. "Perhaps I should move here" I mused, when, in the distance I saw the shadow of an ancient tower. Feeling giddy with excitement and the chance for treasure I swiftly approached the edifice. As I crested the hill with the utmost of haste I felt a powerful tug at my feet. At once I tried to run but it was to no avail. The seemingly innocent node I had not truly noticed in my excitement had turned malicious and was just beginning to consume the world around it. Upon striking the center of this pernicious entity time and space warped and I lost consciousness only to awake in my bed bereft of all my goods and gear. Thankful that this anomaly of space and time left me with my life I considered the loss of my equipment to be but a temporary setback. I have heard of a harness that will allow me to approach and study this node in relative safety. I shall begin my research this evening and hopefully have this voracious node studied and contained. If it cannot be contained I fear I must destroy it. Then I shall plunder that tower.
(I hadn't been in the chunk long enough for node to really distort the landscape so I thought it was just another node. I have learned my lesson.)
When upgrading from TC 3 to 4, I was glad to see that some of the research that I had unlocked in TC3 transferred over to my new Thauminomicon. Things like the Thaumostatic harness, Arcane furnace, and others didn't need to be re-researched. I have however hit a roadblock when it comes to the Golemancy branch of research. Hungry chest, and Straw Golems were already unlocked, but the golemancer's bell and gather core are not. Since the bell and the gather core are supposed to auto-unlock with straw golems, I have no path to unlock them.
I have since unlocked iron golems, and flesh golems, but any attempts to start the research for the chest or the straw golems fail. Without being able to unlock the bell, I won't be able to use any of their advanced functions, and all of the other core research depends on having the gather core unlocked.
Does anybody have any advice on how to fix this bugged research?

Your best bet might be to delete your level.dat file (Clear out your personal inventory first and make a note of your coordinates as doing this will wipe your inventory and change your spawn location). This will, however, reset your progress entirely, and you'll have to research everything, including the things you had carried over from Thaumcraft 3.

I was afraid of that. Oh well, time for another round of let's scan everything
Before I do that, will it reset the arcane doors that I have access to as well, or are those stored somewhere else?

Better way than a reset: Open the world file in question using NBTExplorer, go into your player.dat/ForgeData/PlayerPersisted/TCResearch. Find the tag for GolemStraw and delete it. Do the same thing in the level.dat/Data/Players/ForgeData/PlayerPersisted/TCResearch. If you do it right, it should clear you to research straw golems normally, which will unlock the bell and gather core.
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
i think the issue with the thaumometer is that you have thaumometercore.txt instead of thaumometercore.png.mcmeta and thaumometercore.txt has nothing in it. you might want to change the name of the file to thaumometercore.png.mcmeta and then add this to it:
{
"animation": {}
}

I'm having problems with my mana bean farmer golem. I have a 9x9 mana bean farm floating one block off the ground, with the golem standing under the center. With a water upgrade he should be able to cover the entire farm (four blocks out, one block up), but he almost never gets any from the outermost circle.
Also, he has trouble getting started moving. Once he's realized there's work to do, he does get it all done except for the aforementioned outer ring, but he never does the realizing until something grows right next to him, or until I clock the lazy bum with a snowball.
"Mana beans, master? I don't see any ripe mana beans--" "Falcon PUNCH!!" "Ohhh those mana beans!"

I think the slow to act thing is intentional. They only check for work at spaced out intervals to reduce the load on the server.

It's not that he takes a moment to react, it's that he seems to require a specific trigger (a bean growing within two blocks of him, taxicab distance). I tried adding a couple of netherwart to get him moving more often, and he reacts to those just fine, but he never seems to hit the beans on the way to get the 'wart.

Use magic mirrors instead of enderchest.

Thanks, I'll try this tonight.

There already is a wiki: thaumcraft4.wikia.com
It's pretty bare-bones right now, but think of it as a chance to share your wisdom.
