Ah. I had assumed that the API wouldn't be too hard to add in. And in my experience it is kinda spoilery. The invisible block in the gui is VERY noticeable. Especially with the purple and such.

Well yeah.
It's also used basically nowhere. I think I used two or three, and just so I could build an "unsupported" ladder. The purple outline was very intentional. You can in fact go into the configs and set it to render in the world like that.

Cool mod. I installed the mod, and thru mc patcher I got it up on 1.6.2 . but i keep on crashing. Heres the report:

Wait, I'm confused. Are you referring to the blocks used in the fake bridge and fake floor? The ones that look like stone but you fall through. I know when I look closely they appear slightly darker and have a different bounding box.

Those are illusionary blocks....oh those might have the same inventory texture as the invisible ones
Also, do you keep a changelog anywhere?
*Eyebrow scrunch*
...yes...somewhere...

Also, I talked to ProfMobius, who makes WAILA, and we wrote some code together that you should be able to drop in without any trouble to get WAILA support for your illusion blocks. Just put in the class names and functions and it should work: http://pastebin.com/p4Unmn7j
Everything should continue to work in the absence of WAILA. One part goes in your main class, the other is just some random class.

Hey there. I'd like to use this mod but I'd like to remove all the items that ain't Artifacts (Iron Spikes, Obisdian Walls, Invisible Blocks, etc, etc). How can I do it?

Don't think you can remove the blocks directly....the original way I'd coded them did allow for it, but I think I stripped that out when I ported it over to this project.
If you disable the various worldgen things (towers, quicksand, strongholds) they won't be placed into the world (and there are only two or three that have a crafting recipe at all) and that would pretty much get rid of them (they are also not harvestable; either it has a recipe and is harvestable, or it isn't).

There's also settings at this point for each of the artifact effects.
So basically yeah. You'd still be able to craft the iron spikes, quicksand (super expensive, actually), and the Arrow Trap (basically just a dispenser that mimics neighboring blocks), but that'd be it.

I watched a mod review on this mod and it looks very cool. I was wondering what the spawn rate of the towers was and if there were other ways to obtain items.

Artifacts can appear in (by default):
Towers (duh)
Pyramids
Jungle Temples
Strongholds
Towers spawn in Extreme Hills biome, generally sparse enough that you will only find one, unless the biome is very large, in which case, the nearest will be at least 8 chunks distant, likely more.
