ok, i updated i regret. here's the thing. new block/opens or whatever are cool as. but it broke the trophies i had. an just made them dogs. which i hadn't collected yet nor was i really bothered about (currently). so tell me, will i eventually get my old trophies back or are the trophies dogs now. which wouldn't make any sense and also suck. cause i really like collecting mob trophies. strangely the main reason i go the mod
Unfortunately all wolves now! My mistake, so sorry about that. They should never change again
Awesome mod. Do you have any room left in your modding team? I am a bit bored and not coding anything at this time. I have to tell you that I have been working on mods before, so I'm not a total noob I just stopped modding to make my own game with a friend of mine, but we're too busy to code due to school, but I still have some free time. So I decided to join a modding team :3 That is if you do have space and want me. I could also try make something as a proof of my coding knowledge, even though I haven't set up an MCP since 1.4.6 XD

Found a bug: I was using some sponges to soak up and underground pool of water. When I placed a block on one of the undried flowing water blocks, it turned into a fire block and I lost the sponge.

That just means it soaked up lava. I'm guessing there was some hidden lava nearby.
Everything our team does is open source! It helps us, we hope it also helps others, and we think it's.. healthy.. for the modding community to have a few more open source projects out there
Even the website is open source
This is amazing news! I am learning Java, partly for writing basic applications, but partially for Minecraft Modding. I love to look at others source and take a look at it! I support everything Open Source. I use Linux for my Computer, and Android (CyanogenMod) for my phone and tablet. Open Source FTW!
P.S. Sorry if this is clearly printed somewhere and I just missed it, but what licence is this under, and what version? Nevrmind, after fishing around on GitHub, I see that is is using the MIT Licence.
Some item has been "disabled" by having its value set to 0. Not sure if that's an openBlocks block or not. Did you try to disable anything by setting a blockID to 0?

I posted about a dupe bug, but now I no longer see my post. If it was deleted so nobody would take advantage of it, I understand..I just hope it's going to get fixed.
Another bug I discovered, was that when sleeping in a Sleeping Bag, you sometimes fall through blocks or off of ledges. Minor issue, and one that doesn't need much attention.
I've noticed an issue with large scale canvas, that the blocks disappear unless something is touching it. On our server we use the magic pencil, as a way of keeping the canvas visible in large scale projects. Seems to be around 22nd block or so, it will just become an invisible block but using anything will make it visible. Before we used any sort of block as it would be one-sided viewing, but then as we went into just large scale mid-air it became obvious we needed something nobody could see.
Paint or anything won't cause it to appear, it's only when touching some other block that it appears. Could it be a limitation on rendering, or some other possible thing? Because the paint + canvas basically allows pretty much limitless freedoms, that allow everyone to do large scale pixel art or other things without color limitation. We have been using for mods: Railcraft, Mystcraft, Natura, Biomes O Plenty, NEI, CoFH Core (remove ore gen only). I figured it would logically be, something causing invisible blocks but I've come up empty on an actual cause.
Just hope this is fixed, for those artists who love large scale projects.
anyone else notice Lightboxes randomly destroying maps inside of them? I made 9 maps and had them set up in light boxes and I later looked at them and they were blank and all the maps were gone
Did anyone notice this issue back in 1.5? I'm currently stuck in that version but I haven't noticed lightboxes destroying maps. Then again I haven't used them enough.

Is it possible for you to post the recipes on the main post? I can't use Nei (or equivalent) for reasons, and would like to know how to make this stuff without going to extraordinary lengths to do so. Thanks.
Loving all the additions you've made to the mod. It's fleshing out quite nicely.
I was thinking it'd be very nice if we could rotate the map pieces in the light boxes, as it seems like some place with different orientation than the others, and I'm not sure how to adjust this. I'm also having an issue with the 1:8 height map, when I put it in the projector thing there are pixels all over as if it's exploding or something. A height adjustment would be really nice to have.
Another thing that would be great to have is a transparent canvas brush, so we can keep the original texture showing sometimes, and add the stencil pattern to that. Being able to 'carve trees' with a stencil would be great too.
In the next release lightboxes have been removed. They're just causing too many problems, and 1.7 is offering similar functionality anyway.
aawh, really? wouldn't you consider changing them into just normal lighting blocks, as I'm using them as lamps in my world
also I'm guessing it's not intentional behavior that you can put in a stack of books into the auto-enchanter and it auto-enchants the whole stack in one go? I'm trying to actually put together an auto-enchanting station, but the enchanter keeps taking in whole stacks of books
Woooo, this mod is my new toy for the next few days =D
EDIT: Did I say days? I meant weeks!

It's fine now, just needed OpenBlocks-1.2.0.jar. Thanks Mikeemooo!!!!
