I found a bug that if you close an uncrafting table with something left in the calcutate slot it will delete it. I found this out when testing in a creative world when uncrafting two fences. This still happens in survival as well so the bug is not gamemode sensitive. This bug is for version 1.1 for Minecraft version 1.6.2.
I was also wondering if you could add a feature so that if you have enchanted tools/armor you can put books in the calculate slot so that when you uncraft the enchated items the enchants will transfer to the books at the cost of more levels. That way we can transfer enchants from an iron sword to a diamond sword with an anvil. Or if the player gets a bad enchant they can remove it to try again for another enchant.
Oh! I know where the bug came from. I will update the mod to 1.1.1 in about an hour to fix minor bugs (and this one, which is major).
Also, the idea of returning the enchant into a book is quite good. I'll see if I can implement that one.
EDIT: Version 1.1.1 is now out! Download it from here
I like the book idea to. I really hope they add something at least similar to this in Vanilla eventually. So many crafting mistakes would finally not be such a problem anymore!

If regular is Vanilla then what flavor is your Minecraft?
Finally back from my holidays! But didn't have time to continue the mod (oh....)
But now I am here and I can code more on Minecraft (I've programmed a test for a FPS in Java... Oh? You don't care?).
After this post, I'll try to implement the idea of put your old enchantments in a book in the mod and do some changes on the download page.
I've also started a new mod and I'm looking forward to publish it!
PS: If you have some mod spotlights videos for the mod that you want to be in the first post, just PM me with the link! (I prefer Youtube videos and in English)
EDIT: I managed to implement the feature of getting your old enchants into books. Was more easy and it is more stable than I thought. Still have to do the changes on the mods download page!
The download page has changed! The old one will send you back to: The new page
Version 1.2:
+ Put an enchanted item in the uncrafting table with books in the "Calculs" slot will transfer as many as possible enchants on the books and so give you enchanted books usable with the anvil.
* Shift+Click on the slots of the table will no longer transfer the stacks anywhere.
* Changed the texture loading to adapt it to the Ressource Pack system.
Great mod, but I have a problem: I've installed Forge, I've put the mod .zip file in "mods" folder, but the uncrafting table mod there isn't in Minecraft. Why?
I seemed to have found an odd bug when using this with another mod, not sure who's mod has the error, but here's what happens. I am using this mod and Graves. Whenever using your mod and this mod, The ingame name of the Uncrafting table is changed to 'bones'. If I remove the Graves mod, the name appears as normal (Uncrafting table). I tried changing the ID of the uncrafting table, but the same thing happens.

Which version of Minecraft and the mod do you use ?
Did you get an error message in the console of the launcher ?
@paintballkev12 : I will see if I can do something to fix that.
I have good news to you, users and modders!
The mod will be pretty soon released in its 1.2.2 version (maybe 1.3, still have to check if there are big changes since last update), if everything goes as expected, in at maximum 1 or 2 weeks.
This version will give modders some cool stuff!
The mod's source will be published at the same time as the next update. (If it's not before )
The next update will allow modders to disable the uncrafting of their items. And change the result of others (and even add some!).
This version will also add some littles things to the users:
+ The name of the Uncrafting Table will be able to be translated!
+ The messages of the interface of the table will be able to be translated too!
+ The number of uncrafted items will be shown in the Statitics menu. (If a modder don't want his/her items to be counted, he/she can still block this feature for them.)
* Minor bugs fixes
About the source code, I still thinking on which way I'll give them... Maybe GitHub or just a simple .zip archive.
I'll look forward to see your opinion on this stuff! (You can still say what you think about the stuff already described)
You need to install Forge in order to run this mod.
Just download the installer of the Recommend-1.6.2 on this page (official page, don't trust any other): http://files.minecraftforge.net/
After that, you just have to download the last version of the mod here: http://jglrxavpok.mi...france.fr/mods/ (just click on the image) and put .zip you've just downloaded in your mods/ folder.

If I manage to polish it at the maximum, I'll probably make it open source.
