Some Mods require a higher version of Forge and also I don't really like using and older version (stability issues, etc.). I really like this mod, I always wanted a mod like this, and I really thank you for coding it, I am just say because it does not work on my Server (On my Singleplayer World it works perfectly with the same Modpack and the same Forgeversion).

While I do feel this is a good idea and a very useful one, would make adding new mods to worlds a breeze, I honestly would recommend moving to Coremods, or trying to manipulate the world generation without having to edit base classes. You may not see anything wrong, but there are a few things you have to take into consideration. There are constantly new versions of Forge being released. Because you edit base classes, and specifically ones Forge also overwrites, you would have to update your mod for EVERY version of Forge that gets released because of the new additions to the source not being added in your source. Other than that, it is great, something mod users need.

This is mod is already a core mod, but it still edits base classes, but this doesn't make it incompatible with every new forge version. The classes aren't changing all the time. Only when Minecraft updates.
While yes they are mainly updated when the game changes, it is also incorrect. The classes are modified whenever they add a new feature that has to do with that class. For instance, if they were to change the way recipes worked slightly during the 1.6.4 version, not including any updates for Minecraft updates, they would change GameRegistry, because GameRegistry is how most mods add their recipes. I'm not saying you have to, I'm saying that I recommend you do it due to the fact that it is less work for you just in case this class is changed, and it also helps to keep your code clean as you no longer need to look in vanilla classes for your own code, it's all in your own mod packages.

Yeah, of course it would be better, if you don't edit base classes, but this is impossible, because their is no event onWorldGenerator registered. GameRegistry doesn't change that often, i could use my 1.6.2 version for almost every forge version. But i understand what you mean.
You could actually add this in as a PR (Pull-Request, allows you to change Forge classes and submit the changes to go into the official source) for Forge, make it a bit easier for mods to do this. Would surely change Forge a lot, I'm looking for adding Retrogen ores (ores that generate after the world loads, aka ores that can generate in non-generated chunks) in my mod, so this would help :).

I got an java.lang.StackOverflowError, Industrialcraft 2 is the cause, how do I fix it?
What Forge Version do you use or could you send the error code, because i have no idea why this is happening. I'm using IC 2 and my mod without any problems.

No, it only populates the chunk. I would also NOT recommend to regenerate ExtraBiomesXL for example.
