This may be a bug in the version of Forge you got. You may need another version of forge. I checked, and it appears that build you got, 7.7.1.611, had a bunch of people complaining on the minecraftforge.net forums. Just get another version, and hope that fixes your problem.
i have had this about 5 times in a row, checked all the playerapi and .jar folders i need to install first and they are all correct versions and installed in correct order, and i have watched many videos and they tell me that i have done everything correctly but does not work, as it freezes after the MOJANG title screen comes up i freeze and crash.

should i feel ashamed for coming on here every day and reading EVERY comment? ._. i would be playing Aether 2, but because forge only works with launchers like ftb or technic, otherwise it just tells me i have bad video card drivers (even though they are fully updated). but i should stop complaining, i think i heard someone say there was going to be a launcher for the aether. well have a good day.

If you insist...
1: Download all the Aether II dependencies, and the mod itself. (Aether II, Forge, PlayerAPI (1.5.1 only), RenderPlayerAPI(1.5.1 only)
2: Open your minecraft.jar
3: Delete folder "META-INF"
4: Copy all the content from your Forge into your .jar (Do not delete Forge's META-INF)
5: Copy all the files from PlayerAPI, and RenderPlayerAPI into your .jar |:| 1.5.1 only for 1.5.2:
5a: Copy PlayerCore thingy to .minecraft\coremods
6: Copy the Aether II jar into \mods (If it isn't there, then make that folder)
7: Do stuffs

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I was Hypo for about 5 hours.
Can you please make it so that all block IDs are shown in the config? I love this mod but i cant install it because it conflicts with 2 other mods i have and not all IDs are shown, if i change the other 2, then many important items that have been made so far will disappear, =/
Revert to 1.5.1 in the "Edit Profile" menu when you start up the official launcher. Let it download 1.5.1 and start up. Close the game and go to your .minecraft folder and look for versions. You should see 1.5.1. Open it and your .jar file is there
hey, umm I have a question downloaded Aether II with multi mc and have it on 1.5.1 and it's working, here are the 2 problems umm when I want to go to the offical Aether II servers on the main home page is says client outdated adn I dont' know what to do there. also when I explore the dungeons there isn't any minibosses or any key door. few questions plz help c:

Look up "MCdowngraders" on google to downgrade your MC! Also, if anybody wants to host a server and play with me, I would like to do that because the servers are down D:

You don't need to do anything, you can access older versions within the new official launcher.
