However I have found something that makes me rather sad while doing support for it the glass part on the door and trap door don't support opacity. So I would like to request that in the 1.7 version if you could enable support for it.
I may release a new version soon with a couple changes to fix the chisel patterns, and move glass rendering to the alpha pass. If you're interested in something short-term you can enforce alpha rendering by enabling the ZFightingFix in the config file.
Work on the MC 1.7.2 version is going well, but a rendering bug has essentially put the release on hold. In the meantime, I'm improving other parts of the code.
Placement orientation of prisms is not reliable and depend on cardinality.
Prisms changed for 2.0.3 and auto connect to each other - cardinality plays no part. Upon some short tests everything appears to be fine. Will need more details.
Just thought you should know, I tried using your blocks in combination with http://www.minecraft...senger-seats/ However it crashes the second I use the ship. Just letting you and the Archimedes maker know about this. If your mods could work together, the capabilities are endless.\

They are known compatibility issues between these two mods. If you don't mind posting your crash log I might be able to get an idea of the cause.
I seem to crash whenever I try to plant Biomes o Plenty flowers in a Carpenter's Flower Pot, did a quick search of both topics and didn't see it mentioned anywhere yet. I also crashed when I tried to open a Carpenter's Hatch (textured with spruce wood planks) while holding a BoP flower in my hand.
Biomes o Plenty version: 1.2.1.416
Carpenter's Blocks version: 2.0.4
I don't know what the heck it is with this post, but for some reason everytime I view the front page of this particular thread, chrome crashes, and I have to use firefox to see it.
Could you allow rails to be placed in 45 degree slope blocks (similar to how grass works with seeds. None functional just aesthetic.
But you could also make it functionally if you do some advanced rendering. (basically rails placed in the block above 45 degree slope blocks would rendering in the slope, that would work, but the ride wouldn't be so pretty)
I did some tests a while back by adding some gravel bed to rails textures. Having some gravel bed overlay beneath rails did quite well from top view. Was perfect on flat surface. But it missed side texture rendering on slopes. The idea here is, it should be possible to greatly enhance rail rendering without adding new or complicated blocks/items.Some possibilities:
Add side textures to sloped rails.
Inherit block under texture and render it solped underlay.
Same as 2 with some beveled sides rail bed as rails hover 1/16 atop block. So it would add a gravel rail bed like this:
________ / \
Oh that would be cool, instead of making slopes work w/ carpenters blocks simply add rendering that would make it have a 45 degree slope anytime you place it at an angle.
EDIT: One second though make it have nromal vanilla mc rendering unless you hit it with a hammer, It would inheart the block texture underneath it in its form.

If you're using Chrome's syncing, then it's probably corrupt sync data. Chrome turns sluggish and unreliable over time because of that :\
When I place the blocks in the mod, they are invisible, but they are there. Their hit-boxes are there and their function works (i.e. torches illuminate and ladders allow climbing) but I just cant see them. What am I doing wrong? I know there is a mcpatcher bug, im not sure if I have mcpatcher installed, and if I do, and that is the problem, how do you fix it?
Hello Dear Author:
Recently I was making a map, while you produce mod I feel very close with the elements I need,
Did not know the author Can you let me put the mod on my map, and post to other players play?
Of course, in the article, I will emphasize the source of the mod, thanks to the author's answer.

I love the mod and use it all the time in my builds. I only recently found the flower pots and started using them, but then discovered that I couldn't get forestry's bees to recognize the flowers in them like they do regular flower pots. Is that something you're able to implement on your end, or is that something that would need to be changed in forestry? Thanks for your time.

Good i havent done anything wrong
Greatfull if the fix could be released for the 1.6.x version
Thanks anyway for checking it out.
Hehe, I Like It
Worth it to make the new 2 block high plants work!
Nice, more decoration is allways welcome
While you can't leech it you can beta test for any texture weirdness.

Verified, will look into it.
Partial slopes do have some lighting anomalies under the newer code that I did plan to look into eventually.

EDIT: The World Save also becomes unopenable.

Thanks, I think I have an idea and will test it out in a bit.

Yes you are able to do this.
