Great mod but I can't actually play with it in my Minecraft as forge doesn't work with my Minecraft so could you make it compatible with Modloader please.

Great work, but it's quite a touchy mod. Say I'm trying to jump across a chasm that I have to hold my jump key for but I run into a wall once I get to the other side. It think I want to wall jump again and I go plummeting down into the chasm and lose a lot of health (this actually happened a minute ago.) Could it be bound to a modifier key other than the jump button? Like you have to be pressing Shift while jumping to make it work?

And could you fix the bug where when you hold space to climb out of liquid, you do a wall jump? I can just imagine climbing out of lava and jumping back in again
And the, what I wouldn't call a bug, but just minecraft derpiness, where you take fall damage after falling and doing wall jumps back up. I suggest making wall jumps reset your fall distance (like water).
(However I do have a mod (LegendGear) which adds a pyro amulet which absorbs all fire damage and geo amulet which absorbs all fall damage, but I don't want to waste my amulets)

I've fixed the problem with liquids in the upcoming version, no problems there.
However, the fall damage thing is very unusual; wall jumping should, in theory, already reset your fall damage, but for some reason they don't work. I've been working to fix this since I started making the mod.

The next version includes options to change the wall jump key from space to any key you wish, for example "F", which is the default at the moment.

This mod is fantastic but here is some suggestions i dont know if anyone's said theses i did not read over every post but just for the heck of it ill name them. Add a toggle for the 180 degree turn. I for one dont really like it all that much i much more prefer spinning in mid air giving me the feel of parkour much greater than the mod doing it for me.

I don't really understand what you mean. You want to be able to wall jump, but without turning 180 degrees? Hmm, perhaps I will add this as an option in the upcoming update.
I'm afraid at this point you have little choice. :/
If you read above you'll see that I only started development of this mod in 1.5.1, so I literally don't have any code from 1.4.6. Eventually everyone has to update if they want to keep up with mods, and you're no exception.
Considering it would further delay the release of the upcoming update (which has some cool new features!), and it would only provide for a very small portion of the people who wish to use this mod, I'm afraid re-writing my code for an earlier version of Minecraft is not worth my time.
Similarly, doing things like making the mod compatible with other mods or with Forge Mod Loader (which I'm pretty sure does work with Forge itself, but still) is of more importance but still not my top priority. If I have time, I will try my hardest to please as many people as possible, but pleasing everyone is near impossible to do.
oh well:\ ill try waiting for the mods to be updated or skip themthe mod itself actually does look cool though:)

It looks like you've tried to install this mod onto a server, there's no need. As long as you have Forge and this mod in the mods folder, you should be good to go for both client and server.
I'm excited for the update
I also like the idea of being able to run about 1 block up a wall. It would go together well with the mod, like running a block up, jumping, running up, jumping. It fits nicely.
Of course add it to the config, because the config is everyone's friend.
(For an update in the future you could add a custom animation, as long as you can program it yourself without Player API)
I could, although I'm not sure this would be necessary considering a lot of mods do this already. For the moment I think I'll leave it.
Lol just so you know I DID read your faq before putting this, but.... is it compatible with smart moving(a widely used and specific mod)
Honestly, I'm not too sure. I think there are some incompatibility issues, but I'll have to get in touch with Smart Moving's creator(s?) to see what those problems might be.

I've fixed the problem with liquids in the upcoming version, no problems there.
However, the fall damage thing is very unusual; wall jumping should, in theory, already reset your fall damage, but for some reason they don't work. I've been working to fix this since I started making the mod.
Hmm... Your error is quite unusual... It suggests that something has gone wrong during checking whether space is pressed so you can wall jump. I'm really not sure why this would happen, I'll look a little closr into it and see if I can fix it for the following version.
The next version includes options to change the wall jump key from space to any key you wish, for example "F", which is the default at the moment.
I don't really understand what you mean. You want to be able to wall jump, but without turning 180 degrees? Hmm, perhaps I will add this as an option in the upcoming update.
