Welp, 3 days later, still not finished. I've been putting in 2-3 hours a day for the last two weeks, and though I've made huge progress and gotten to know the ins and outs of the mod far more than I would like to, I keep running into bugs that are almost impossible to work around despite designing and redesigning every bit of the code. I'm getting pretty frustrated at this point, and with 1.6 just around the corner and the development of the base shaders mod still somewhat up-in-the-air, to my knowledge, I think I'm just going to shelve the update for now. I don't know if I'll come back to it any time soon, but I will definitely stick around and support the current versions.
This guy here has posted a complete duplicate of your cel shaders claiming them as his own. I compared your code to his side by side and there wasnt a single difference.

Edit: He also has had this posted on planetminecraft for over week now. It's receiving quite a lot of positive attention from there as most packs don't get posted there, even asking for donations.

Thanks for the heads up nikarf9, I was worried something like this might happen. I'll confront him about it in PM's, but if anyone could raise awareness in his threads that would be awesome. In other news, I might release a new version after all!

No problem, glad I was able to help. It's a shame that things like this happen, but at least it was caught quickly. It looks like the shaders have been taken off of here but they're still on planetminecraft so you might want to see if you can get those removed as well if you haven't already. I'll be looking forward to future updates of this shaderpack!

Laserpigofdoom did this. KILL HIM, KILL HIM NOW. Love your cel shaders!

Yeah, just an update on all that. I got in contact with the guy who owns the account, apparently someone else with access used it to post the plagiarized work both here and on PMC. The guy was incredibly prompt and professional in getting back to me and taking down the account here, with a promise to remove the other post as soon as possible, so props to him
I'm having an issue with the download. When I click the link, it takes me to cubby, but the files just load forever, I just have it sit there for literally 10 minutes and nothing loads. You think you could add a mirror link please?
With the new Shaders Mod 2.0 everything is RED. I think that the only Shader Pack Compatible is Seus 10.0, every other pack is red, but with the effects... ( Cel shading or shadows or other)
Switching between SEUS and another shaderpack causes this in Sonic's current version of the mod. Just restart minecraft without Sonic's shaderpack selected
Yes, I have it running on mc 1.5.2.
@Naelegos This is awesome! I had been looking around for a cell shader pack that didn't eat the fps like candy. This is almost perfect. I get a minimal fps drop from 50ish to maybe 35-40. Very nice for a shaderpack! One thing I'm wondering... How would one go about adding the wavy trees/plants with this?
Haven't been here in a while, feels nice to be back!
Sonicether has been nice enough to take some of my input into the shaders mod, and I've contributed some code. He and Karyonix have been doing an incredible job, and I love where the mod has been going recently. I'm starting to dust off some of my old code and start work on a new version; no promises, but it's in the works! Just for reference, though, the current version definitely works in 1.6.

Sounds great man! Good to know you're back. Excited for the possible new release of these!
Tried this on my mac, and my the game went black except my inventory. I did everything correctly, please help!
fellow mac user here, I use these shaders all the time with no problem, mind giving some more details? are you SURE you did everything right? which version of the shader mod are you using? only v2.0.0 works on mac

The v2.0.0 of the shader or of the mod?
