I've been reading that there are bugs and issues with the 1.5 version.
I don't suppose extreme lagging, multi-clicking (glitching causing MC to think I've either left or right clicked twice, destroying or adding more blocks than I intended) and other such lag problems would be apart of said issues, would they?
Trying 1.4.7 version now...
[Edit]: It was, I'm no longer having the lag nor the glitching, and I am absolutely loving this mod!
As a map maker, there are sooooo many things I could use this mod for, it's mind boggling!

That was because I did some *really* serious research on the rendering code. And as 1.5 doesn't have a stable Optifine yet (does it ?) I decide to wait for a while before updating.
I'm positive you can mass deploy sculptures without big performance hit. I had some bad time with gl display lists but that was the most rewarding thing in the making of this mod.
Two mods I'd love to see compatibility with are Biomes o plenty and underground biomes. Statues made of palm wood and marble would look awesome!

I agree on the shaders comment too - I never used them until about two weeks ago. Clear, lovely reflective oceans coupled with Coral Reefs.. yeeeey. If I built even a mid-range PC I wouldn't need Optifine, but unfortunately I can't justify a purchase SOLELY for Minecraft (which is about the only PC game I play anymore). C'est la vie.
-edit- Also, I've yet to crash or have any wonkiness with 0.0.6 on my server. I got to piddle with it for about half hour yesterday and I have about two hours this morning. No performance hit to speak of really, but then again I was pretty much just randomly stabbing blocks of stone, one at a time. I'll holler if my world explodes.
Might have found a bug. When painting on canvas, instead of painting the pixel im aiming at, it paints the pixel immediately to the right. This only happens in Multiplayer, it works fine in Singleplayer.
updated the version number to 0.1.0. I'm mostly fixing rendering issues in this update. And you can place painting on sculptures now, it may work better than you think.This is gonna be the last update (hopefully) for 1.4.7. Development moving to 1.5 ~
Yeah I downgraded to 1.4.7 to use this mod. Works flawless. I think it should be included in Vanila Minecraft thereafter called Minecraft 2.0
You dont have to use cube glass in windows any more, You can just put bars in Your large window You can make nice columns now!
I have updated the mod to be working on 1.5.1. There's still optifine incompatibility that I doubt it's the problem on optifine's part. Since the porting didn't take much effort I doubt bugs exist though. Thank you for the support !

Just to let You know, on-the-wall placed canvas is not visible (so is painting) while using optifine/shaders mod/unbeliveble shaders pack (I dont remember names, its on the other computer), 1.4.7 version.
That was not a problem for me since I much more cherish sculpture part.
Shaders somehow turns on the gl texture flag that I disabled, which is weird. I guess I'll have to use some dummy texture for that. I'll be fixing that on 1.5.
1.5.1's optifine making sculptures vanish should be optifine's problem. I'm waiting for its update also.
Amazing mod! Thank you! I have been waiting for a mod like this for a very long time. I have one question though. Is there a way to increase the rate of the paint being applied to the canvas? I think if the rate was faster it would be much easier for the non pixel art types to get there ideas onto canvas

I am considering a re-write on this. Definite need to make it easier to draw. Plus more color support.
Concerning the bug: Sometimes it happens, sometimes it dosnt. I can't figure out whats causing it, but its not in any way game breaking, so I just ignore it.
More importantly: I took some screenshots of a few things that have been made on my server since I got your mod.
EPIC YOU DESERVE TONS OF DOWNLOADS AND VIEWS!! btw i got only one concern will it lag? i mean will it affect my minecraft fps somehow? EPIC MOD!! i like it (is it forge?)
before i got 1000~1500 fps and now 1000~1490 i don't really care about the fps change, and yes it is forge (please read the OP before asking such questions, its mentioned in there)
i posted and then i read it .. derp i forgot to edit that anyway , is there some incompatibility with optifine?
edit: the blocks become invisible when i try to sculpt them, o i think this is the optifine incompatibility.. on the other hand im experimenting the bug where you can only paint if you place the canvas on a chiseled block..
BTW i created banner for the mod, is not the best banner ever creted but it will do.. i can shrink it if the dimensions are too big anyway awesome mod keep it going
