Nice because I can see gravestones also working as Stone slabs that you can write stuff on and they are harder to break than signs.

Out of morbid curiosity, how long do you suppose it will be until you release the next update with the ability to have the gravestone return items? I'm putting together a modpack to work with my mods for doing adventure maps. A gravestone saving the items you had in your inventory would be awesome for doing adventure maps.

What if you added a Casket that spawned in front of the Gravestones? It could hold your inventory on death, and be used as an alternative to chests. Maybe a chance of a mob (zombie, skeleton) spawning when you first try to open it?
I really would love to see some way for it to keep your inventory on death, regardless.

It's already done, but items will be stored in your grave. But i don't released this version yet, cause there are some features wich i want to complete before.

Man this mod looks fantastic! Going to give it a shot after work tonight! I would also like to add that i totally agree with you nightkosh, in that i dont think graves should save items. Its much more hectic and fun to run around dodging zombies and skeletons trying to grab your gear than to conveniently trot back to the tombstone and pick up your stuff... That being said, i would like to suggest some ideas that could help your mod perhaps. Maybe add some wooden tombstones (lol tombwood) for variety, like a wooden cross with an iron helmet on top perhaps. I also like the idea of coffin which are chests that you can use for decorative things and maybe as a bed??? You had said that you were going to have other generated structures so why not have just random generated cemetaries as well, say like where an ancient battle took.place. Heck , you could even make it as a small biome perhaps. Maybe create a set of grave robber tools to raid coffins under tombstones? There are also some nice haunted monsters that would look good with this, in particular the ghouls from dungeon mobs and the soul things (cant look up there name cus im on a cell phone atm) from mo creatures. or if there istime for a new mob maybe a vampire (enderman reskin?) He drains your life to replenish his...
Finally, crypts n mausoleums could be a variety of sizes... I can try to make a few up if you're interested... Sorry for the unorganized mess of ideas, hard to text with my phone but i had to because this mod looks great and screams potential to me...

Curse PremiumWhy not. But as i think it will be better to make it only with "empty" gravestone. And i think it can be combine with one of planned feature: add new villager - undertaker wich can sell you "empty" gravestone and some decorative stuff.
Nice because I can see gravestones also working as Stone slabs that you can write stuff on and they are harder to break than signs.
