help please. Whenever I try to install it (with forge of course) when I play minecraft it says something is missing and galacticraft will not load please help.
Cool mod, what I've seen of the mod so far is amazing. I really wanna use this on our survival server...however, I ran into a little problem.
Just to test things out (and make sure it worked without problems with all the other mods), I used creative mode to build a rocket, switched to survival mode and launched it, and landed on the moon...oops, crashlanded I should say. Yikes!
Clicked respawn, and I'm on the moon. So I choked to death. Clicked respawn, and wouldn't ya know it, I'm still on the moon, choking to death. Uh oh.
I had been using an older version of Forge, so I updated it to the latest version, then tried the whole thing again, just in case it was a fluke or something. Even made sure to set up a bed (in Overworld) and slept on it once to set a spawn point there, just in case that'd help. It didn't.
It's possible that there's some sort of wonky conflict with one of my other mods causing this, I don't know. I'm running quite a few, and if I'm the only one with this problem I'll try to figure out which one is causing it by eliminating them one by one.
Or is this the way it's supposed to work? If I'm missing something obvious somewhere, I apologize.
help i cannot wear the oxygen tank on the newest version
if you aren't already you have to go in to survival and there is a thing at the top one is a crafting table and the other is a space helmet you click the helmet then you have slots to put the oxygen gear
hey guys, I have this issue where i dont c any of words on the space station?? or w.e. it is called once u reach the space with ur rocket.
all i can c is bunch of stars and maybe earth or the moon picture if i press right place. the this is just empty without anywords like other videos that i saw.. can anyone help me how to fix this???
oh ya and my gravity does not change back to normal when i come to my world... have to exit my world and come back to remove all the lags and gravity... anyone has same problem??
would it be possible to add a contol panel type thing for example say i go to the moon but travel miles away from where i land could there be a panel i type into before going up that takes me to those co-ords on the moon at the interface screen you know where it say make station ect and also would it be possible to make higher teirs that can travel and com back auto matically for example me and my m8 are playing the my people mod and we think it would be awesome if you could send 20 rockets to programmed coordinates by using a redstone signal as the my people mod has clones so you can make an army to combat your friends i just think it would be awesome to be able to send your units and/or animals into space
I found a bug, perhaps. I cannot get back to Earth.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 and Java 7u25 x64 while playing MC 1.6.2 with Forge 828, MicdoodleCore-1.6.2-a0.1.39.572, Galacticraft-1.6.2-a0.1.39.572. I also installed several other Forge mods, and so I will mention them because they might be relevant to the "bug". Those mods include Better Worlds Generation 4 v1.1.7, Biomes O' Plenty 0.6.0, Natura 2.1.5, and Twilight Forest 1.19.0.
I am able to craft a basic rocket, a launching pad, a fuel loader, an oxygen mask, an oxygen gear, a pair of full light oxygen tanks, and a parachute. I can equip the oxygen mask, gear, tanks, and parachute. I can fuel the rocket, launch it, and land safely on the moon. I can place a landing pad on the moon and launch the rocket for Earth.
However, that is when the problem begins. After having flown high enough for the GUI to appear, the GUI presents me with two options (Overworld and Moon). If I choose "Moon" and click on the "Send to Dimension" button, it sends me back to the moon but my lunar lander is gone. And if I choose "Earth" and click on the "Send to Dimension" button, the mouse returns to the center of the screen and nothing else happens.
Bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody hell. All those liberals and intellectuals and smooth talkers - and all of a sudden, nobody can think of anything to say.
It doesn't matter, though. I don't plan on using the mod, anyways. I just wanted to check it out.
Argh... Hehe. Such a pity! ... I think this is one of a few mods whose potential is HUGE. Travelling to different worlds... Exploring the galaxy (maybe? =) micdoodle8? ^^)... And actually having to know how to get to places, unlike, for example, Mystcraft, where worlds are simply generated and you teleport to them. I'll be using this mod for a long, long time =)

I'm not going to lie - this mod is probably the best mod I have ever seen; it just doesn't fit into the medieval theme I want for the let's play I'm going to do.
Probably mentioned to death but incompatibility with Aether II

I'm getting the same issue here. On top of that the game crashed when opening the helmet tab on the player inventory GUI.
did u click space after u got on??
When I say "nothing happens", I mean "I don't board the ship. Literally 'nothing happens'".
It doesn't matter, though. I don't plan on using the mod, anyways. I just wanted to check it out.

Galacticraft was not translated to Korean (KR) yet. More details: "words missing" topic
Someone needs to step in and translate GC to Korean: http://forum.micdoodle8.com/index.php?threads/want-to-translate-galacticraft-check-this-out.1107/.
As workaround, I suggest playing Galacticraft on English meanwhile.
