Heeey, COOL mod!!! Im wonna make Sphax PureBDcraft texture support patch for this mod!
Awesome! I would love to see some custom pack support. I setup the textures in such a way that there is a good bit of flexibility in how they can look, esp in custom texture packs. I preferred to do it this way to maintain more control over how the woods covered the model. If you make a patch for Sphax texture pack and post a link on the forum, I'll even add it to the main post.
Have you considered adding support for the Forestry and ExtraBiomesXL/Biomes o' Plenty to the mod? Specifically as regards wood textures?
As far as texture support goes, I have thought about adding support for some forestry woods at some point. I currently base the texture on the metadata which means for full support with the current system I would have to use more block ID's.
Wonderful mod, adds a much needed forge alternative to risu's mods with different textures ( I love spruce ). I have one question though, are items (not blocks) supposed to rotate to face the player or is this a bug? I just tested it with forge 499+Optifine HD B4 standard and forge 518+Optifine HD C3 standard and got the same results.
This is vanilla Minecraft behavior. The way the items are rendered is handled differently depending on your graphic setting. If you have graphics set to fancy, they render as 3D items (added in 1.4.6) and remain stationary on the shelf. If you have graphics set to fast, items are rendered as sprites and always face the player.
I love this mod. It makes my mystcraft writing room look so much better, now that I can see all the books I have made discovering symbols.

There is a rare mythical button called "Search" that likes to answer questions; however, due to its nature, it often blends in with its surroundings so as to remain hidden.
If you put an extrabees flora in a box in one of the labels you will crash. Also with fancy item rendering the potions and swords face forward it is very awkward. with and without optifinme fix
Exceptional. I mean this is just full on nice. Seemingly simple, but fulfilling a real hole in aesthetics. And not pointlessly expensive like some other armor stand mods I've seen.
Just great I'm gonna test right away. Thanks, and I hope you continue to update for several versions to come.

If you think something's impossible.
You haven't tried hard enough.

Ill find out what is up with that and try to get in a fix. I'm also looking at fixing a couple positioning bugs.
Can potion wracks store/be made to store Thaumcraft glass phials? Water bottles? Empty Bottles? It's just a little cosmetic thing, really, but it'd be nice to have similar customization that the Glass Case, Tool Rack, and Bookcase has for the potion shelf.
P.S. this might be out of hand, or too chalanging but i would recomend making a modloder version, my
laptop doesn't like forge and i wish it was compatable. It would make people that have the same
problem happy, Thanks for reading!
The only thing that surprises me is this wasn't done sooner. I've been waiting for THIS exact mod for quite some time. Don't even mention Risugami's mods, they don't compare—they are not the same. I may be a bit premature praising you, I am downloading and trying it out AFTER this post, but you sound like you accounted for a the majority of issues that would arise and delivered a solid product. I'll update if there are any problems, but otherwise you can consider yourself a win.
I discovered rather quickly one thing I want to point out. I maintain a server texture pack, and texture support for this mod is a lot of work. After getting through about half your pack I'm just gonna quit. I did the GUI, bookshelves, generic shelves and was going to start the potion shelves and I decided it isn't worth it.
Why? What if I decide to change one of my textures? I'd have to apply that manually to every single item in your mod. Perhaps a small thing except no piece of your mod even applies to anything else. The bookshelf has double sized textures, the potion shelves are longer than the generic shelves, every shelf is a different size from the others and a few have different alignments! Heck, each bookshelf has its own book textures! Why? So yeah, I LOVE the idea and I know it's vain; but I'm dropping your mod right out of the gate for this one. Zero texture pack support is a bad road.
These are my recommendations:
Use the texture pack textures. There are plenty of 'complex' vanilla items—fences, gates, doors, item frames—that use the same textures and are different shaped objects. I refuse to believe this isn't possible here and the benefits are obvious. All sixteen colors as the artist intended are already present in the wool, support for all existing texture packs and as well as high def packs would be automatically included and the best part? Texture pack support. As it stands, supporting this is an artists nightmare.
This is a great mod, great idea and its an awesome place to start; please, please, please take this into consideration.
Noticed some more rendering bugs with the armor stands: gregtech armors and the solar panel helmet from ic2 turn into iron armor as well. Also, the textures of any armors arent being rendered on the inside of the armors? which sounds like a meaningless complaint, but it means if you look closely at many armors they look weird, helmets dont have backs if you look at them up close, chainmail armor looks strangely empty... etc.

Sure! Post a link back on this thread or PM me and I'll add it to the main post.

Hold shift and right click with an empty hand.
Very visually appealing

I can't tell if you're acting as if you're the mod creator or if you're apart of the team..
Anyways, my room. (Still moving in.)
