Most of the biomes I made were inspired by this mod, so until MrSpring updates the mod for multiplayer, you guys can feel free to use my terrain generator:
Dirt Plains:
Ruined City (wolves spawn here):

Dried Ocean (this is where you can find water):

There are a few more biomes I didn't show such as JaggedStoneWastes, DirtHills/DirtWilderness, MushroomFlats (where pigs spawn) and a few others, but all the main ones are shown. It took me awhile to make this, so I hope you guys enjoy
Unfortunately I don't the programming skills required to turn this into a mod. Maybe someone else with a bit more knowledge in this sort of thing will be able to some time in the future.

So essentially this mod is going to be dead in the water for a while. As for the server generation I always wanted randomly generated cities in a wasteland unfortunately the latest version of zombie land does not include those.
If you want to, I can release the 1.6.2 version now. But if I do so, the trees will only be one block pillars of wood.
That would just make more of a challenge which I would accept considering how frequently dead trees spawn already. I would like the release now and when you have that fixed you can upload it as an update to the mod.
I still need to add the mcmod.info file and the logo. After that I'll start making the new forum post.
Also, I think the Wasteland biome generates in the normal world type aswell. I have to fix that too before I can release it.
I might be able to fix it all by tomorrow.
The generator thing has to definitely be fixed but the mc.mod file is not required for it to work it just adds a description when you open the mods menu with forge. By the way perhaps in a later update can you make it so that you can find a group of ruins (ruined town) that might have a villager survivor? Something like that.
I know abot the mod info file. But I have some spare time anyway where I can't finish up the mod. And I like the idea of the ruined towns. I'll look into that at some point, thanks for the idea.

can this be used in a client mod or is it server only?
Terrain control is a bukkit plugin so it can only be used on a server, sadly.
Do you at least plan to make it a client mod?
