Although i like the mod the flamethrower to me is a little destructive can you make it not turn sand into glass or shoot very far? maybe half or 2/3 range.
The whole config folder in the .minecraft or the rival rebels folder in the config?
Just the files inside the config folder will do, those files are generated automatically when you run MC, (no harm to delete them) the problem happened when you have old configs files in that folder and new versions of a mod.

RR with the Lanterns mod, i right clicked the Lantern and it turns into a pill from RR mod. O_o Are they both not compatible with each other?

Hey, if you delete Forge config files and both mods configs, when you run MC, Forge reads all mods ID's and if it finds clashing numbers will assign ramdom ID numbers to fix it.
So, please delete all the files on the config folder, and let me know if that fixed the problem. You could also force a different ID number by editing the confi file of lanterns or RR.
The catch is that to play on the server, RR have to have the default IDs on the client to match.
Also do you think this will go on multi servers?
You shift-click on creative mode. This mod uses shift-click for many things, like packing the toaster and breaking the flags box.
The mod is literally lag free, and it has multiplayer support as well as an official server.
The flags have no recipes so oposite teams can not craft them. Only the Troll flag is craftable.
I use no software, what I use is a pen and a piece of paper to plot the coordinates that I write straight to the tessellator...
