I remember getting that crash in my non-modpack setup when I was putting together a super-setup a few weeks ago, but I can't remember which mod caused it. :/
Possible issue:
I upgraded to the new version of TC3 and started making Thaumium. I was using two Iron ingots and 8 chiseled sandstone in the crucible. When I look at the aspects using the goggles of revealing the Solum aspect is a negative number. It is not dumped to the alembics either. I also tested back on the previous version and had the same result. Is this normal or known issue?
Edit. Tried to put a screenshot but having an issue doing so.
yeah no change installing it directly to the jar either, in fact it looks like this launcher is bad enough it's actually overwriting minecraft.jar everytime it launches even if you tell it not to update.

I just updated from 3.0.0 (latest letter) to 3.0.2 (latest letter) and all my research and my friend's research are gone (its a server)
A way to get researches quick? but not all using the creative book, because I want to find on my own the new ones added (the new wand/armor and stuff)
any ideas?
Really easy simple ideas? Unfortunately, I don't know of any. Others might.
I would suggest using NEI or Creative mode to cheat in the items you need to research the theories you already knew and then sucking through them all in a research table as quick as you can.
You know what, I'm feeling bored (being sick with a 100-degree fever'll do that to you). I'll go ahead and give a shot at making a configurable addon that allows you to add aspects to other items
That would be pretty awesome.

Metallurgy aspects were from my 1.4.5 OreDictionary addon that I've mentioned a few times today, but XyCraft was built into it as far as I know.
Hopefully by tonight I'll have this custom addon stuff completed and you'll be able to add aspects till your heart's content.

I've got a problem. Two actually. One with 3.0.1c and one with the new update.
But more on that later.
First I am running a few mods along side this one. Industrialcraft 2, Dynamic lights, Optifine, and ExtrabiomsXL.
My problem is, I can not see any of the hold-able items (finished research, thaumometer,etc.) when they are held in my hand. It's like my character is holding them at hip height. I can see the top of the item, just not enough to use it. This wouldn't be a big deal if I wasn't having a hard time finding nodes. I can't see enough of the thaumometer to find a node. Now your saying,"well you have a node nearby if you made the thaumometer." The answer to your statement is, I did have one. It vanished. Where'd it go I don't know but it's gone. So I am having problems looking for a new one.
The second problem I am having a problem with is downloading the update. I would love to download the newest version, but because we have to go through adfly I am unable to do so. For some unknown reason I can not connect to the website. I have tried different browsers, a proxy ip address, even my phone. I keep getting the "cant connect to this website at this time." I am not blaming the mod maker cause It does the same thing for any mod that uses adfly. if anyone has a suggestion on getting around adfly I would love to hear it.
...I just thought of something...What if these current tools are actually not the top of thier tiers? Maybe the items we currently have get upgrade to become Pickaxe of the Core etc?

I really hope so, but couldn't he come up with new names? I mean the Elemental ones ARE the old ones, their functions changed a bit but are basically the same, and they use the same texture.

OptiFine causes this. And if your Node vanished, you might have lost ALL of them.

KBI Enriched Gravel Mod -- sift out nuggets and chunks and make gravel useful! (Outdated)
Tinker's Construct Recovery Addon -- get back some of your half-used tool materials! (Outdated)

That is an ongoing issue with redpower. Right clicking with items in your hands on timers causes crashes.
