Wait what? New update sweet.
I just dropped in to say that after many days, the flux from my little experiment pretty much burned itself out as others said it should.
Aura is still slowly recovering, but it is recovering.
So I guess it is ill-advised to plop down like 20 silverwood saplings at once.
Helloooooo tier 3. Something still missing though, wheres the portal? Seeing how they evolved from TC1 to TC2 I have been dieing to see how you do them in TC3.

You know what, I'm feeling bored (being sick with a 100-degree fever'll do that to you). I'll go ahead and give a shot at making a configurable addon that allows you to add aspects to other items
i would appreciate that as well to be quite honest, me actually going through and doing that for the ginormous amount of mod stuff we have in though.......... heh, i suppose i'd do the important ones at least.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.

Don't worry, I'll be adding values for some of the more popular mod items, and keeping all my old OreDictionary values. All configurable of course I have some old code from my More Music Discs mod that allowed people to add recipes based on item names as well as item IDs, so I'll try to be pulling that into it so that changing IDs won't mean screwy aspects.
And remember, crafting recipes automagically calculate aspects, so you won't need to add stuff for every item that is crafted out of other items with aspects.
Please explain, I really need to know. It isn't the magic carpet.
well if the quote is any indication (disclaimer, i have no clue if it is or not) then it can only be
flying monkeys?

I saw the "last updated" or whatever 22/1/2013 and if I remember correctly, the last update was 22/12/2012... and it took me a minute to realize the new update was out. what a lovely surprise!! Thank you so much!
Or golems.
Found something special in the entity list, though.
216 = Dart
201 = FlyingCarpet
200 = SpecialItem
maybe it's a rogue flying rug?
seriously though.
i'd bet nearly anything it's a hostile pet of the witches of some sort, who knows what specific kind but that's where my money lays

Oh no, More Music Discs was unfortunately discontinued after 1.2.5 because of the server-client merge. And it only let you make recipes for music sheet items. But I'm sure there are dozens of other recipe-adding-via-config-file mods out there updated to 1.4.7 if that's what you're looking for. Search button is your friend
well dang, so much for new TC3 stuff, figured the modpack was still far behind on 1.4.6, backup our install just to be sure and yep of course, the usual holdup is the problem, why the hell does FTB go to such trouble to evade being up to date anyway?

Just update the jar file to 1.4.7, update Forge to a 1.4.7 build, and you should be good to go. No obfuscations were changed from 1.4.6 to 1.4.7 so all your mods should be compatible.

i don't have the unmodified jar file for the direwolf20 pack or that's precisely what i would do, can i just use a fresh 1.4.7 vanilla one or will that explode?

If Feed The Beast hasn't changed and I understand how they do it correctly, the vanilla 1.4.7 jar should work fine unless I'm totally mistaken.
EDIT: I've pieced together MCP 7.26, Forge .502, the TC3 API, my 1.3.2 item-searching code, and my 1.4.5 OreDictionary Essentia Addon so that they don't crash the recompiler. Now I just have to put them all together so that they actually do what I want them to
