Hey I'm using dynmap on my server and it doesn't seem to be working fully. I'm only seeing bits and pieces of my map rather then the whole thing. When players are online they are shown on the unrendered areas, which have already been rendered, and dynmap never updates. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey y'all I had a question about Dynmap that I haven't been able to find an answer to anywhere. We want to turn on the chat feature but we've noticed that when in our Staff Channel that those messages can also be seen on the Live Map. Is there a way to restrict chat to a specific channel?
Any help you could give me pointing me in the right direction would be really appreciated.
I'm running a small server for my friends and I (would rather not post the IP/port). It's running Hexxit (Forge) w/ MCP.
The plugin works for the most part, but it reports some missing textures for the ExtrabiomesXL mod. There are many lines of output like so:
20:05:53 [WARNING] Resource mods/extrabiomesxl/textures/blocks/saplingsakura.png for mod ExtrabiomesXL not found
20:05:53 [WARNING] Resource mods/extrabiomesxl/textures/blocks/tinycactus.png for mod ExtrabiomesXL not found
20:05:53 [WARNING] Resource mods/extrabiomesxl/textures/blocks/toadstools.png for mod ExtrabiomesXL not found
The result is that there are black areas on any non-standard biomes. I've done some digging trying to debug this, and I've found that all the textures do in fact exist in the mod's jar file:
All of the missing textures are located there within that JAR. From the jar, I also tried replicating the 'ExtrabiomesXL' folder so that I would have the following (filled with all textures):
[server_root]/mods/extrabiomesxl/textures/bocks/*
Still I get the same message. Any advice? Where can I put the folder of missing PNGs?

Hey guys,
does anyone know how to disable towny chat mod chat from appearing on the dynmap.
Im happy for all other chat like /global to continue displaying but our mod chat we do not.
I'm having an issue with 1.9 running on a 1.6.2 server.
I do a full render of the map as we have it now, it completes and says it's ready but when we go to the map, it only allows for the default zoom level. If we zoom in at all it's super blurry and the controls for zoom become non-functional.

Since we started using Dynmap Forge on our sever (so that we can have flans mod) we have had many problems with Dynmap. Mainly dynmap is creating maps multiple maos of worlds on every restart or reload, so worlds that were fully rendered are no longer as the map which shows players on it for a certain world has changed name, so what was SMP_110 becomes SMP_111. With the SMP_110 map filly rendered still but showing no players. Also it doesnt show any players on the server until dynmap reloaded. How do we fix this? Thanks

I am wondering, how do you look at the 3d Dynmap? i see the 2d one by going to the localhost but you have a screenshot with an isometric one. How do i see that?
I'm wondering is there any way you can set the path of the actual map files elsewhere? but keep the rest of the files where they are? Reason being, I'm running my entire server in ram, and those map files eat /a lot/ of space. I don't see it in the config on where I can point them to be made anywhere else sadly, or if this is even an option. I do recall long ago someone made a video on how to take where minecraft is installed, add some sort of loop that sends the files to say, a ramdrive. If it's not possible by default, I'll have to take a look into doing it that way. I'm just wondering, cause dynmap doesn't need the speed of /ram/ to do its thing, it worked perfectly fine on the raid, and of course, it's big!

The 'tilespath' setting allows you to control where the bulk of the generated files go. The default is a relative path (relative to the mod's home directory), but absolute paths work, as well.

The default settings give you both - you need to select which view you wish by accessing the menu tray on the right edge of the map view.
Does someone have a walkthrough, or can someone help walk me through getting my own texture pack to work? I've tried a few things but nothing works and the wiki doesn't seem to be all that clear... the configs are very confusing to say the least.
And does it need to be a texture pack or will a resource pack work? I tried both and neither worked. Thanks

Can I first say that I love this plugin, it really makes the game so much more enjoyable for me, thank you!
The number one feature I would love to see added is the ability to make Pins on the map. Say I find a nice mineshaft for example, place a pin on the map for all my friends to see. It would need to have a labelling system on the pins and maybe color coding so we can see who wrote them.
Alright, so I have installed the Dynmap plugin for my Fragnet.net minecraft server and I cannot get the map to even load, as in the page does not even exist. The plugin is installed correctly and I even went through the settings in the config to see if that could be the problem. The address should be http://75.102.46.71:8123 but for some reason like I said, it is not working. Anyone here use a fragnet.net server and if so, how did you set it up to work properly? Many thanks (and maybe cookies for you )

Hello, I am running a Tekkit server. I have Minecraft v1.6.2 with Forge v9.10.0+, MCPC-Plus v1.6.2+: and I am trying to run Dynmap v1.9 but I keep getting this error and dynmap wont work, any thoughts?

Additional... it works as expected on my iPad and my iPhone... just not on the computer.
