You need to allow one block of air above the tilled soil. You also need to wet the soil.
bummer. it sucks that the computer issue happened. because i really love gwafu's mods and thoroughly enjoy them. and i also had a couple ideas like bamboo fruit that dropped every so often or maybe boiled rice. but i really hope that this mod can continue developing. but now i know to constantly make backups of my own mod so i don't lose it myself. XD
1.6 update is in progress. I won't bother to decompile the 1.5 versions so I can just copy and paste it over. Instead, it will be done from scratch. This means that everything will work and look newer and better (while still keeping the old philosophy of making it simple and vanilla-friendly).
To compensate with the 1.7 update and to hasten the release, the Bamboo and Rice mods wont be updated and/or released at the same time as the other mods. The reason is that the Bamboo and Rice mods are just 'extensions' for the original 'GrowthCraft plan/idea/manuscript/blah blah'. That includes the Apples, Grapes, Hops, and Cellar mods. The Beehives and Spider Nests are also a part of the original idea, so they may be released first before the oriental mods. Don't worry though, the oriental mods will be updated later on.
Here are some screenshots. I know it's not much, but I'm still lazy just like before.
That is the new Fruit Press. I'll post more screenshots as soon as I can after I finish a feature.
PS. I rage-quitted from the internet. I got bored. Anyway, thank you for the support guys! :-).
I can't overstate how excited I am that growthcraft will see updates (and take as long on them as you need/want, as soon as it feels like an obligation, your heart won't be in it). Nobody blames you for getting bored, it happens to everybody once in awhile (except apparently Azanor, that guy is a modding beast), and we're all glad to see you back for however long it lasts.
Glad you're back! I was so hopeful when I found out that there was a mod that would let me be a horticulture geek in Minecraft, and so disappointed when you were struck down by a machine-curse before updating to the version my other mods were on. Now hope is restored, and in the screenshots it's looking better than ever!
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
