Love this mod. I used the blocks to make a colored roof to my castle.
However, I discover a problem. I am also using Buildcraft and there is one inconvinient recipe overlap.
In your mod, crafting Cactus Green give Green Dye Drop, and in Buildcraft, crafting Cactus Green in the middle spot of the crafting table should give Pipe Waterproof.
Now I can get green dye, but no Pipe Waterproof, so, impossible to craft Waterproof pipes.
What can I do to fix it ? Can I disable the Dye recipe (don't use the green one) or make an alternative recipe, for example putting the Cactus Green in a corner would give the dye, and in the middle the waterproof ? If I can do it, how?
I don't think using an entire base class just for such a minor bug is necessary, but then again, that's why it's OPTIONAL I guess!
I know that that was the only issue, but think about it: if you have more than one color fence in your hotbar and they were all black, how do you tell them apart? That's why I had to find a way to fix it.

I don't think you can do anything, but give me a day or so and I'll send you a modified version.

I put a download link for the modified version in the original post (by the original download link)
The crafting recipe is two dyes horizontally next to each other, anywhere on the grid.
nice mod id like to use it but conflicts with rail craft and so without a config i cant use it. i will wait for when a config shows up also a way to turn of some blocks in your mod would be nice to like putting the item id for the item to 0 to turn em off unless thats already there lol

Man, that's a very cool mod!!Especially for design and this kinda things!!
I can only recommend you one thing here: It would be great if you add some coloured doors to this mod in a new update.
Love this mod. Hopefully you can update it to 1.4.2 without trouble, maybe adding even more expansions. May i request that you add a few things Mojang neglected to do, like add doors and fences for the 3 new woods?

It would indeed be nice to have a 1.4.2 compatible version. I tried it and it's the only mod that make the game crash. Can't wait to see the new stuff of 1.4.2 and the updated mods I am using, but I don't want to lose the colored blocks in my game.

Paint Mod has large incompatibilities with a lot of mods, especially large Forge mods. I've had trouble using it since I've installed a lot of Forge based mods and most people should have too with FML becoming more of a requirement these days.

This is not the topic for this conversation, it is rude, so please bring conversations about my mod into my forum if you so choose. Also, paint mod uses fml, and should be compatible with all forge mods, having only potential blockid issues.

Just sayin'. Your mod ain't perfect and has a lot of incompatibilities other than block IDs. I prefer stuff like this to stuff like that any day, especially since this much more simpler and has a lot less issues. Hopefully this'll keep going
I'll work on it.

They have the correct color when put down!

So, gj for that!
I also give you a thumbs up for recipes that won't easily conflict with recipes from other mods!

Why? Paint Mod kinda makes this mod obsolete.
