I have a suggestion. Is it possible to make it so that cactus spawns in the Dunes and/or Lush Desert biomes as well? As I was traveling around on the back of my dragon, I past a few desert-like biomes and not once found any cactus. I know vanilla deserts are still generating even with BoP, but they seem to appear much less often. I'm sure I'll happen upon a vanilla desert any day now, but this is just something I've noticed. I used to prefer to live in Desert biomes so coming from that viewpoint, I don't think cactus should unintentionally made rarer than it actually is.
Though then again... someone could argue that the giant flowers of the Garden biomes should spawn elsewhere as well in the world... (this statement was me thinking out loud), but I would disagree to that.
Well anyway, there's my two cents, but it's your call in the end. Either way, I'm gonna keep using BoP cause man oh man do I like exploring these biomes.
Why now on 1.5.2 of Biomes O Plenty that all the BOP items are all "UNAMED". I have a server with Unleashed Pack and also try a new Single Player world and anything associated with BOP now are all "Unamed" any suggestions or a way to fix.

Redownload Biomes O Plenty. And everything will work out.
hey man
i have downloaded it all correctly buty when i make a singleplayer world it says something like 'in order for biomes o plenty to work you to need to order' i dont know the rest but can you help?
Follow these instructions:
1. Open Minecraft and click the 'Singleplayer'
2. Go to 'Create New World'
3. Go to 'More World Options'
4. Change the World Type to 'Biomes O' Plenty'
5. Create your World
6. Profit $$$
There is another way but that involves the configs files, but the way I typed above is much easier in my opinion, heh.
Did you code your own version of the effect? Because vanilla regeneration applies even when hunger is empty.
Also your 0 second regeneration effect doesn't heal mobs or even seem to increase the speed of healing when you have full hunger.
Agreed, this doesn't match the behavior I expect from vanilla regeneration. The HP regen I see while in a hot spring with full hunger appears to be the normal food-based HP regen, not any faster than if I were to step out of the spring at the same condition.
I don't know if you've ever considered this or if it's even possible but you and the Mo' Creatures guy should team up. Having certain mobs spawning only in certain biomes and with the amount of biomes that are added I think it would greatly improve both mods.

How can I make bop compatible to ebxl again?
There's no config for the conflicting biome id (id 39, savanna plateau).
And why does hot spring water placed by me (via bucket or source blocks) give me a regeneration buff that doesn't do anything?

You can already do this by going into your Mo Creatures configs and editing what spawns where. Mo Creatures defaults to putting all monsters in all biomes, which isn't much for diversity, but you can change it.

Sorry I tried that and it did not work, now I have Unleashed on a server. So I have did a Force Update twice and still all the Biome o plenty items are "Unamed".
Is it just me, or does the new version create way too many oceans and puddles than the previous ones? Its like 2/3rds of the time, a biome is bordered by an ocean of a river.

It would be cool if you could control the spawning of the creature mobs. Current issue I have with MO creatures is that the mobs don't spawn upon world generation, they spawn continuously throughout the game. And in your house. And in your walled in crops. Etc....
You can control what spawns. But from what I can see, you can't control WHEN they spawn.

If the place is well lit, monsters won't spawn. If the floor is not dirt/grass (perhaps solid stone as well), animals won't spawn. Gardens can be difficult to keep tended when using Mo Creatures, as the tilled land is still a "dirt" block for spawning purposes. There's a way around this though - Placing a solid roof (or having it underground) should stop the animals from spawning in the garden. If not, then it's a limitation in Custom Mob Spawner (which can be disabled and replaced with a different one that allows for it).
Where can I find the full documentation for this mod? ie, all recipes, and what all the new items do? Thanks!
I have seen a couple people asking for information about what items do and I have asked many times with no reply. It seems like its a given that you should say what all of the items do. So far this has just been an "add more wood blocks" mod for me because I can't figure out what the things do. Is there any place I can find out?
yes there is a way... wich is to
1. get NEI (not enough items) for the crafting (or read the first post)
and
2. try the stuff out yourself! go for it!
3.this mod is not ment to add just items, ect. it adds more biomes for people to explore and makes the boring minecraft world much, much more exciting!

There will always be that kind of a moment at least once in everyone's life. That moment when your sitting there listening to someone going down memory lane, but really not listening at all.

Maybe my version was glitched. I had flies and bugs spawning inside my house (well lit). They were constantly tearing up my crops. I wouldn't mind running into the animals while exploring or having them stay put once captured. It was the continuous spawning that drove me nuts.

No, that's not a glitch unfortunately. I forgot about the insects. CMS has a rather rudimentary spawn system, and the insects will spawn indoors with lighting (maybe it's a "feature", not a bug lol). There might be certain blocks you can use for the floor to stop it, but I'm not sure. The only way you'll get around it is to disable the bugs entirely or use a different spawner.

Using the latest version of BoP for 1.5.2, I get Twilight Forest biomes in the overworld when using BoP's terrain generation option when starting a new world. I'm thinking this isn't intended?
