Uhm actuall Sphax has to add textures for this mod not the other way round - if he did you should says that HE added support for this
and as for the patch - what kind of patch is that and why would it be useful for TWP/Users?
Actually he's saying he wants the OP updated, stating that Sphax now supports this mod. He however is linking to a modified Sphax (edit: Or just addition assets that can be added to Sphax?). So it's a bit of a half truth =P. Love Sphax, gonna check it out.
And does anyone know if there's a way to disable jungle spiders? lol =(
This mod is now Forge-only? I thought you said you wouldn't do Forge.
Yeah, I said I wasn't going to at first because I was clueless on how to do it. But now that gamax92 has ported the entire mod over, and I've had a chance to get used to Forge with the mod already there, it's a lot easier to understand.

I've added the link to the PureBDCraft support to the opening post. As for Jungle Spiders, no, there's no way to disable them, except by going to Peaceful. I made them pretty tough to fight on purpose, as Minecraft lacks challenge for the most part, and they only appear in a few biomes.
----------------------------------------
Anyway, I've been working on the next update, which won't be out until after the contest is over. I've fixed custom logs/leaves/planks/slabs/stairs not burning, added some new blocks, etc.
The update will also add 10 new biomes, including the winning biome from the contest. I've already added 5 of them, and they're looking really nice if I do say so myself. A few of them are biomes that are returning from past versions of the mod (To stay for good this time), some are suggestions I've receiveed before, and some are ones that I decided to just add on a whim.
I'm really loving this Coral Reef idea/anything that makes Ocean Biomes a little bit more fun. If you are going to make it though, maybe think about adding a Diver's Helmet or something so that we can stay underwater for a much longer time, because in certain places without the air enchantments you can't even make it to the bottom of an ocean without taking damage.
Maybe a Biome of Doom, where the water is replaced by lava, the grass is a deep brown/dark grey color, the sky is a dark ashy gray color, ash replaces the sand in it, and the surface of the biome is littered with spikey/vine covered trees.... think trees that are similar to the one that enclosed Aku in Samurai Jack.
Something that Notch planned it as a new dimension and later Jeb said it wasn't in their plans: the Sky Dimension.
Skylands
Everything is like the plains biome at level 64. But from level 96 to level 128 (if you can make it higher, please do it, but if it can't be done, I think 32 levels are enough) there is one or more floating islands.
In these islands you can find Sugar Canes, Lapis Lazuli and Redstone, but they are uncommon, and more rarely diamonds. You can also find dungeons, coal, iron and gold.
As for mobs: Chicken spawn normally in this biome, and cows and pigs very rarely.
It is always midday, and it doesn't rain or snow.
Pictures of the old Sky Dimension: http://imgur.com/a/cvsYW (as you can see, lava and water can flow from the islands to the terrain below.
I think 32 blocks are enough space under and above the first layer of "island", however if you could increase the height limit it would be awesome.

This mod is awesome, is the best Minecraft mod I've ever played... oh and guys, look what I found:
Yes, a spider spawner just under the big holes in the Deadlands. I leave you the seed in case you wanna check it out. Oh, and the seed is really cool... just like most seeds in this mod, it's the best terrain generator I've seen.
Biome: Tall Grass Biome. Basically a biome with giant tall grass, which drop seeds. Basically a Mushroom Island/Garden Biome, but with Tall Grass.
Block: Red Rock Bricks. Basically Red Rock-colored Stone Bricks.
Item: Radiated Flesh. Dropped by Mutants. When you eat it, no hunger is restored, and you get a random potion effect!
EDIT: I realized there is already Red Rock Bricks, so how about Spore Wood/Planks/Slabs/Stairs. It will be purple.
How about the Coral Craig Biome?
It spawns out in the sea and is basically a bunch of spikes coming out of the ground, The spike formations would be made of coral blocks, which can be broken down into 4 coral which can be used for coral soup.
OR
An Atoll.
OR
A Crater Biome, which is usually only 1 to 9 chunks in size.
It's basically a giant impression in the ground where you are expected to find ores, meteor blocks, and fire.
The thing with floating islands is that it'd require some complex generation code. Not to mention, I don't really think it'd fit in with the other biomes. It's more of a thing that'd require its own dimension, and I'm leaving skylands to The Aether mod, which is being revived by the creator of it.

Yes I think you're right. Thanks for reading. The Aether mod is being revived? Cool!

Not sure if I'm allowed to suggest mobs but I would looooooove a penguin mob for the glacier and arctic biomes, I love penguins and it could be really cute :3. Also, the ability to tame them with some special item or maybe just fish would be the best thing ever
I'm suggesting 2 biomes as my idea is heaven and hell biomes hell in the neather and heaven in the overworld. Their spawn rate could be like strongholds old spawn and 3 per world or something. Heaven's water would be pure white or some color to make it holy looking, and hell's lave since its in the nether pitch black or something really evil looking. hell would have plums of smoke coming from the ground like the fire swamp in the twilight forest and heavens trees could sparkle making a cool building material. Not sure if a biome mod can do this id not leave this out but a temple in the center of the biome not very big just mabey about the size of a desert temple with a cheast in the center that has an item that goes with the theme like and angelic bow that fires light arrows and vice verca for hell, not sure if you can put trees in the nether but for hell put rock like trees like the trunk has a brimestone like texture and the leaves look kinda lava like. this is what i thought of on the spot when i saw the contest
Could you add mud TNT, when it explodes it makes 9X9 blocks of mud - for traps,
also, mud could be an for making Slowness potions
I'm probably going to make it so you can throw mudballs at people, and it'll give the slowness effect when hit.
Please do it. It's gonna be awesome.
One question: Are we allowed to use this mod on a server?
Thanks!
Diggin' Minecraft Style
Yes, just don't redistribute the mod in a modpack. You'll have to link people here.
Yes, of course, linking them here to download it. Thanks again!
Oh, and for the mudballs, make the slowness effect last only 8 seconds or less... Or it would be a little unbalanced.

Yeah, the effect will only last for like 5 seconds or so. While it could be used for PvP, it'll mainly just be a fun little feature.
