I pulled down the Spy Mod 8.1 archive (for MC 1.7.2). I'm running the FML beta build 991 right now. The Spy Mod does not come up in the Mods list with the other 1.7.2 mods I'm running. I checked your MCINFO file. All the info is in there, but it appears that the file is not in the correct format. You might want to try correcting it with a json editor (rather than using notepad/wordpad). Also, none of the mod components show up in inventory so something is not behaving although it appears all of your classes are present. (It's basically behaving like the mod is a 1.6.x type release.) I didn't actually go in and check your code or anything.
Anyway, it is a great idea for a mod and I am looking forward to trying it out once everything is working!

Can you post another link for your mod? The one in downloads section is not working. It opens some host site and when I 'save target as' download fails.
I really liked your mod ( from the videos it seemed pretty cool)
About the download links / pics, the topic was broken by a forum glitch and is still under work. I am gonna open a new topic with the update once it comes out so please keep that in mind

Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
