I have a problem with latest version. Textures of ores' dirty dusts or clumps doesn't appear for me. I checked mod's files to see if they're missing. Everything is there. Game just doesn't load their textures. Does anyone know any solution for this?

I removed the old mekanism zips from the mod folder and installed the new ones. I moved the config file from the config folder (mechanism.cfg) to my desktop and started the game. But I quit the game before I loaded a world. This way the new config file was loaded, but since I didn't load a world no ids were changed. I compared id's between the new config file and the old one on my desktop, and saved the old id's into the new file.
If you don't do it this way, some of the ids get changed and a lot of things won't work right.
I seem to be having a problem while using the digital miner. Regardless of settings, it seems that if one fires it up and proceeds to teleport around the server crashes. Well, not "crash" really, since there is no crash report, but it basically hangs and eventually MCPC+ will shut it down. We can use everything else in the server with a few people concurrent, porting all over the place and just playing with no problems. As soon as someone fires up a digital miner and it starts doing its thing, hangville. Any suggestions?
On a side note, an odd interaction with IC2. If one tries to use Universal Cables with advanced IC2 machines (the 2nd tier machines like Rotary Macerator) which require a redstone signal to stay spun/warmed up one quickly realizes that the mechanic where Universal Cables "disconnect" when a redstone signal is applied makes them impossible to use without leaving off the signal. A problem that is easy to work around, but an interesting item of note.
sorry if this has been asked before but i played a previous version of mekanism and it had wind turbines, ive just installed the new version and i cant fine them on NEI
Ver. 6.0.1 is a dev version and it is not complete. I believe that it is mostly for testing purposes. It also does not contain the universal cables and that is why you should stick with version 5.7.0.
I apologize if this is an obvious question but when I try to craft bronze armor, I always get IndustrialCraft bronze armor, not the Mekanism armor, no matter what kind of ingots I am using (even the Tinker's Construct bronze ingots result in IC bronze armor). Thank you for your help...
In order to NOT get IC2 armor, you need to disable it in the IC2 config file.

How i can disable the copper, tin, bronze and steel ingots from Mekanism? I have problems with the Railcraft steel and the IC2 copper, tin and bronze. When i smelt copper dust in a normal furnace, i have Mekanism copper, and when i smelt crushed copper ore (from IC2), i have IC2 copper, and i want to disable the Mekanism ingots. Sorry for bad english :).

6.0.1.13 is the latest "release" version and is the recommended download. It is "feature complete".

When you go into the config file for Mekanism, just make the item ID for the ores a zero. It will make their ores not a choice and give you other choices instead. I hope this helps.

I just had that version and there were not any universal cables available. They DID NOT show up in NEI and WERE NOT craftable.

Hi there - yes, it is the release version. If you are running 5.7.x - you will get a MOTD on startup of a world that mentions that you should update to 6.0.1.x which is now a release version.
Also, universal cables are available and are viewable in NEI. There are four versions now. This means that if you import a world from 5.7.x - you will loose all of your universal cables. The four versions are Basic, Advanced, Elite and Ultimate allowing for different capacity limits passing through the cable.
Since I have a base with tons of wiring, I replaced it with an alternative before upgrading. I used Ender IO conduits for my main conduit and simply marked the areas that I needed to have UE cables with different items such as project red wiring. When I upgraded, I logged in and replaced the project red wiring and it picked right up.
I did have a problem with a couple of my machines, I had to pick them up and place them back down to get them to work. Not all the machines had this issue though.
do you know why i wouldnt see the wind turbines in 6.0.1.13 then?
Make sure that you have Mekanism Generators installed. The wind turbine is not included in the base package.
If you happen to have a wind turbine placed from your old 5.7.x world, when you log in - there will be a box around the turbine. Looks kinda funny. Just break it and replace it back down and you will be fine.

Here are some screen shots to show that what I said is true. The wind turbines are there, but the cables are not.
The section after the pictures are the items and blocks listed in the config file and as you can see, they are non-existent.
Edit: Also if you look closely all of the iron clumps and ingots are invisible in NEI. I have not changed anything else in the game. I only updated Mekanism and Mekanism Generators. So, I don't know what's going on. I'm going back to 5.7.0 because it works perfectly

Ahh .. I see the issue. They do exist, they just have no image (completely transparent). It's more than likely an item ID conflict. Are you running this on a server? If so, maybe the client doesn't have the same config as the server?
EDIT: On second thought after looking at your config file - I think it would be easier to delete your config file. Startup minecraft and have a new config file generated. More than likely, it will fail due to item ID conflicts with your other mods. That's fine. After it crashes (or opens), shut down minecraft. Compare the new config file against your working 5.7.x config file and update the IDs to what you used to have.
Do not assign any item the item ID of your former UE cables. The item no longer exists. If you try assigning the old Item ID to the Basic UE cable, I think that you may have issues when loading your old world file. So, I suggest not using it at all and choose 4 new unused item IDs for the 4 new versions of UE cable. When finished, go into the game and put down the new version of the UE cable.
I was a little frustrated by some of the changes as well, but I am only upgrading in anticipation to a Minecraft 1.7.x update. BC has a beta out for 1.7.2 and IC2e just started to commit their 1.7.x changes to the jenkins server. So, we are getting closer.

But i don't find the ids for the ores or ingots, all i can found its: OreBlock: 0 and Ingot: 0 (I changed it to 0)
I have Mekanism 5.7.0.11, i cant play the new version.
question, on several wikis(unofficial mod pack wikis) it states that speed upgrades also increase energy efficiency because power costs over time do not increase.
Yet with the new power tab on the side of machines stating a machines power usage per tick, it shows an increase of usage per tick with every energy upgrade you apply.
What it plays like is if you have a fully upgraded machine, it actually drains more power to complete an action than one that isn't.
Am I missing something or are speed upgrades purely for speed?

I had the same problem with the new version. ID Conflicts were makeing some textures not show properly and the new cables did not show up at all (NEI or crafting).
You have to run it from your %APPDATA% folder or change the $startDir variable in the script.
Perl is a scripting language. You will need to install Perl for it to work. Just search for Active Perl download.
Just copy the source program code into WordPad and save it as minecraft_find_ids.pl in your %APPDATA%/.minecraft folder (or equivilant folder).

Here, at least, gave error for lack of induction module.

My solution was to use a perl script (From http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1243693-Minecraft-Item-Id-Reporter-Program)
