The liquids are working great now, buckets work, recipes show up, all is well! Really impressed how you handled all of that mess I discovered. +1!
One small bug of note, don't feel rushed to fix it. When I craft the buckets they seem to return a empty bucket as well as the proper liquid bucket. Probably has something to do with the recipe using water buckets and thinks the bucket is going to be consumed in the process, thus returning the empty bucket.
Like I said, you've done so much already, don't feel rushed to fix this tiny bug! Just add it to your list for your next update
I noticed that ModLoader updated to 1.3.1, so that means this mod can.
Keep up the great work, don't give up.
Um, no. This mod requires Minecraft Forge, which has *not* yet been updated.
Skim through your own post history for a list of things people might also say in response to "1.3.1 go" posts like yours.
MindKrafter. I texturized the DIYglass blocks hoping that they act like your coloured glass, but they only shows 100% transparent or 100% opaque. If I change them into the range you used for your blocks, they work fine (translucent)
Yes, they will only work in the same way as regular glass. To make the glass colored requires a different render type, which unfortunately causes graphical glitches when used in certain ways. For example, try using the iron bar block texture on one of the colored glass blocks and watch it flicker constantly. I did have them set up like that in their first iteration, but nixed it for that reason
I could always add a set of DIY stained glass

Well said
and given there are some significant changes to the code for 1.3.1 I can foresee many mods taking longer to update.
I have already had a go at updating my "Boombox" mod. It only requires modloader and is usually very easy to update,
but this time around it's going to be a real pain in the...ask me another question!
With a bit of luck, this mod shouldn't really have any issues updating, once Forge is available

Yep, it's definitely related to the water bucket in the recipe. I'm pretty sure it stems from the cake recipe, but so far I haven't found a work around without having to edit base classes.
It is kind of annoying and cheaty though, so I think this may work better
I think it should be stable enough to make it the official 1.7 release now
Yep. I will share them when I finish an entire pack. I don't want to share these ones right now because I don't like their look (I'm still testing them)
The textures you make you say you don't like, are 100x better than pretty much everything I've made FYI.
Also, I 100% agree with your sig. I've done more testing than playing the last 3 weeks
Okay, I really like this XtraBlocksExtremeEdition mod but why the hell you're not using the terrain.png for the wood stuff (fences and the others) ? Why so much minor files ;(
I am considering making Soartex Fanver textures for this mod and then I took a look at your file system. WHOAH! Why is every texture or every two textures in its own file and folder? Except for the DIY blocks, everything else could happily fit in a single file. I am a little confused.
I'm surprised that your the first to comment on that.
It has become quite messy with all the new blocks I have added. Somewhat of a necessary evil on my behalf during development.
I am working on it in the background though and a more compact system isn't far away. Hopefully you will still be interested in making a pack once I add it to the release. Thanks all the same and I hope you are at least a little less confused.

Mindkrafter how would I go about changing your door textures.I want to make 128x but when I tried it just made the doors transparent.I won't be home for a few hours so I can't give you a screenshot right now.thank you

It should just be a case of resizing the doors terrain.png to 2048 and then replacing my textures with your 128x door textures.
You can either do it via your texture pack or directly in the mod file.
This was done in plain minecraft, no texture pack or Optifine.

Thankyou, I will be sure to check them out in the morning and add it to the OP.
Makes sense thank you resized the door .png to 1024 so I guess that's why it didn't work. I gonna make new door and window textures and upload all the textures I made if that's ok.

I look forward to seeing them.
1.8 is now out.
Added chocolate cake, 1 slice = 2 hunger bars and Apple Pie, 1 slice = 4 hunger bars
Also finished up work on reducing the texture files.
There are now only three folders/terrain.png's
GlowBlocks, DIYBlocks & XtraBlocks
Whoah! Sweet! I cross posted your work over to the soartex thread for this mod, is it ok if I include it in the modded pack?
Here is the thread, by the way: http://soartex.net/t...me-edition.271/
I'll get working with Lefty on the rest of the blocks in the mod.
EDIT: What with the texture rearrangement, I guess that file isn't too useful anymore. Thanks anyways! If you would like to help, feel free.
@OP: TYVM for consolidating files. That's really sweet!
@mindkrafter
I can't seem to get the doors right that I told you about before.I changed the .png to 2048 and resized my textures to 64x128 and they show up in NEI as half doors and when i place them they are transparent. here are some screenshots to show you what I mean.

Thanks for your help.
You still had them the wrong size. I have added them to the the terrain.png from 1.8 for you.
For the actual in game door you need to split the door in two (2 x 128x128), for the inventory icon the default size is 80 x 112. (but you can have them any size)
I may change the set up in 1.9 so that you can just place a full door in there.
Hope that clears things up and gets your doors working for you.

Nice textures, you should share them with the community
MindKrafter: I actually like those recipes better, nice job with the new bucket textures too.
Mmmm Cake, I kinda forgot about them didn't I?
Well, not to worry! I've been in the kitchen baking this up for ya. Expect them in the next release
I like your textures too!
I second iNFiNiTeX7's notion, do share
Cheers!

I have made some with particles like regular torches and some without that are good for lights/lamps. Will be in 1.9.
