can i change the enchament id's to something else or will that mess the mod up?! D: i had a duplicate enchantment id error.
Yes you can change the enchantment ID's. If you look in .minecraft/config you will see a file for my mod. In this file you can change several properties such as item ID base attack strength, Base durability and also the enchantment ids.

What about a sword that becomes stronger as more mobs kill with the sword, initially being very weak? Or another one that throws a razor wind for a range attack, maybe the razor have a halved damage?

Well this update was planned to clean all the code up to provide a fast and clean 1.6 update. I then planned to change some things to include some new 1.6 mechanics.

I have an idea similar to this and I have talked about it before. When you kill a mob with the sword it will add certain stats to the swords.

I may just spend all day adding little details to the mod. Sounds and what not. I also wan't to change some stuff with the swords.

suggestion 1 : swords give buffs when using the related enchantment like: molten edge and blaze sword gives long duration for fire aspect or other 'fire' enchantments

add more compatibility with some ore generation mods. when smelting for example tin from universal electricity it produces a sword from your mod. any others with the same issue?

This is a verified issue. It is not yet determined if this issue is with the other mods, an issue with my mod or a minecraft issue itself. There is a solution for it however. If you bump the id values in my mod up it should fix this problem.
Hi! I really don't mean to complain, but I believe the Master Sword is made with DIAMONDS, not lapis. On the spoiler it shows lapis Please fix if you have some spare time!

I think you should at least keep the master sword. I feel like its a well known sword. And if you are going to have a mod about swords, you might as well have the master sword because its an iconic sword. Do you see what I mean?

I am going to elaborate more on this idea and I will release a full update suggestion in the morning maybe.
Well I got textures and names working. I had to rewrite a lot of my original code and now it is mundane to say the least.
I will work on getting this update out as soon as I can. This update will not include the giant overhaul with the changes to the swords. Just working on getting this to run is my top priority. Updates will come afterwards.

This is a verified issue. It is not yet determined if this issue is with the other mods, an issue with my mod or a minecraft issue itself. There is a solution for it however. If you bump the id values in my mod up it should fix this problem.

Maybe enhance the bone sword for a creepier sword, perhaps a low durability but with the enchantment for steal hp. = )
