I have Forge installed properly and everything, but it won't detect this mod and/or load it. It acts like it's not there at all.
I have Primitive Mobs, Rei's Minimap, the TF2 dispenser, teleporter, and sentry mods, Mob Spawn Controls, and Inventory Tweaks installed, if that's of any importance.
how dare you disrespect Santa ( ye it's a joke because St.Nicholas
HAS been shown great fist respect by the Coca~Cola company which made him into the that thing called Santa Clause to commercialize him...to sell their product...)also whith a heavy heart the cave worm but I wish it was in other mods so ignore this...
Daveyx0, I personally love all the mobs and don't think you should remove any of them. I do wish there was a way to tame all the mobs so they don't despawn. I've built a zoo around your mod and mo creatures and would love to add more exhibits. Also I'm sure you hear it all the time, but have you considered adding monkeys and penguins? I really think they are needed for the jungle and snow biomes. Thank you and keep up the great work!
darn it I messed up multiple quotes.....> .
Any way I will not visit Scotland ......

Help save my poor eggs...you wouldn't just let them die would you?
-Santa and the Christmas Tree. I think the reason are obvious, christmas is long gone now.. But don't throw the code. Get it back next in next holiday if you feel like it.
-The bee and beehive: They teleport around every time you log in. Also, bee keeping, you will get asked this as long as you have them.
Personally, i prefer to download a mod focussed on them. But the swarm mechanic is really good, would be nice to have mosquito swarm. ^^
-The mantis, they look somewhat good but they have no mechanic to them at the moment.
-Salamander, that a personal choice, it is the only mob i truly dislike. They just look out of place in the scary neither.
-Edit: Another personal choice, the Reef Manta. I just think they look weird. But they are well coded it seems.
Mob that need to be reworked to be viable:
-Bison, their hitbox need to be fix and maybe their behavior too. At the moment they are kinda just there and for such a large animal it is not enough. But i do love them so i wish for them to stay.
By the way, i agree vulture are awesome.
Also, this is of course only my opinion. Mostly it involve nitpicking. Thanks for the mode you've made ^^
i'd remove bats since they are already in the vanilla.
maybe dragonflies too. And i think fireflies would work if they where just one pixel. I know they look better being a tiny 3d model but they would serve their purpose if they were just a 1x1 blinking texture and would use less resources(?).
Also I was wondering some things... are their mobs that we can ditch? Personally I don't mind. It just feels like some mobs don't belong in this mod. If not, I'm thinking of adding a way of optionally adding mobs to the mod in a differrent section on the OP. The code really is a mess, so bare with me. :S
Well, I've found the Lava Serpent to be rather ugly and spastic. It's always stuck into corners and moving erratically, clipping with the scenery. I wouldn't be sad if it was gone (or maybe replaced with another model, I guess riding it must be pretty cool) if it can't be fixed.
hey i need help. for some reason none of the at-mos mobs will spawn. if it helps i have mo creatures installed not bimesXl or the mod spawn control
I think MoCreatures might cause this problem. :/ Try temporarely removing it and testing. Else you might not have installed the mod correctly.
@everyone. Just some updates on my progress for Atmosmobsv2.0:
I've been working hard on making my mobs work with Minecraft's AI system so I can use the pathfinding that it implements. Yesterday I added loads of features to the bear which is my test subject I now have mammel specific swimming behaviour and I'm able to specify a list of mobs it will attack on sight. Every mammel also will have an attack and even a breathing animation.
Technical stuff:
- Implemented internal Biomes O Plenty support
- Redid the configuration file
- Added dutch language (for mobs)(if anyone wants another language then please contact me You will need to provide me with translations)
- Added useful system for swinging animations
Don't remove mobs. Maybe Santa and Xmas-tree could still be in the mod but only appear in December?
Also what do your bears you are using look like? What other mammals are there, As far as I know there are only 2 that attack so are there other new ones as well as bears?

Aw, BOP support just as soon as I found an even better (IMO) biome mod. Great work though, Ive been considering setting up more than one game anyway since theres quite a few mods Id like to try. The game that uses BOP will definitely have atmosmobs too.
When I spawn a Angler, Mahimahi or a Swordfish they just die instantly. Is this a bug or will it have something to do with incompatible mods?
I have this problem, as well.
In fact, this version is really buggy for me. The cave worms cause ghost blocks whenever they dig. I've also noticed that I'm not getting any pigeons or parrots. I have hundreds of cave worms, moths, and owls everywhere for some reason, though. I occasionally get crows, vultures, and gulls. I also will occasionally get hundreds of salamanders spawning in the nether at once, but otherwise all the mobs spawns seem fine. It might have something to do with Mo' Creatures, but the cave worm problems were there before I installed Mo' Creatures...
Anyways, if any mobs should be deleted, I think it should be the butterflies, moths, and bison. The bison looks great, but its a bit more than "Atmospheric"... the moths and butterflies get in the way and its really annoying to find about fifteen or so moths sitting outside my house because of a torch. I usually stick close to my house in survival, so they don't get a chance to despawn, and their numbers just pile up.
Uh, could anyone help me out here?
